It was reported in USA Today that Oscar De La Hoya has officially turned down the $2 million dollar demand of Floyd Mayweather, Sr. and will use another trainer for his May 5 showdown with pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather, Jr. The paper reports that an official announcement is forthcoming. Hey now, Floyd Jr. talked alot of ****, but when it came time to sign the contract he did it without complaint, & you know he not getting half as much as he claimed he wanted. The Mayweather clan is ****y as ****, but the only one who has the right to be is PBF, he put in the work & proved himself the best p4p boxer in the world.

Edit; If I were Mayweather Sr. I'd swallow my misguided pride & take what I can just to be part of this bout, but hey maybe the man has a heart & doesn't want to train someone to beat his son.
