i rarely see see mayweather get hit ... and honestly the last time i think he was even hit was against shambe mitchell (lol of course im exaggerating but damn, thats the last time i remember) and before that was the corley fight...

hopkins rarely gets hit as well...I love the philly style fighters ...

and wright has the ugliest ****in defensive style of all the time ...the conventional bull**** ... but nevertheless, he rarely gets hit ... well in the fight with taylor he got his a lot ... but before that.. not too much

    who you think?

I go with Mayweather because the shoulder roll is abit underrated defensive tool that it doesnt even need speed to use and if you got speed than its pretty hard to catch up.

If you seen Mayweather or James Toney they put there shoulder roll at the same time there whole body is tucked it like a paper putting on the side so it harder to hit him

It's Mayweather....because he puts himself in the best position to bring some offense, after he makes the guy miss.

Best defensive fighter out of the three by far is Winky. PBF is not an aggressive fighter, he'll lean back and wait for you to commit. He got hit plenty against Judah that way. There's a good reason why he doesn't fight good pressure fighters and that's because they would give him problems. Winky has seen everyone, all styles and I would say has the best defense overall and counter punching ability. BHop got hit plenty against Taylor, Oscar, and many others but has a very hard chin.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. by far. He uses his footwork, elbows, shoulders etc. He has the total package. His defense is his offense pretty much.

Mayweather was gettin nailed by judah in first few rounds. he even got knocked down.

But Mayweather and Wright are close. I like both defensive styles. Winkies defense is more pure if u know what i mean.

Not many people can stand in front of 2 of the most dangerous punchers in the sport and not even get hit. Mayweather would get hit if he stood still, Not WINKY WRIGHT.

But if you have two guys running awa, then i guess Mayweather gets hit less overall and is more impressive with how he does it

I'd say Floyd Mayweather..He seems to be the the total package defensivily.
His speed and footwork put him above Wright or Hopkins defensivily IMO.

Based on their most recent performance, I'd have to go with Mayweather, his performance against Baldomir was a masterpiece, he would fire 2 shots, dodge or rolls a shot & fires one more afterward without being touched. Baldomir is a pressure fighter, but you cant come straight-forward against Floyd, you have to use angles & fire from all directions, see what work, then try & stick with it, so far I think DLH has the best chance at finding the kinks in PBF defense.

In the last 5 years Mayweather has come out of every fight as pretty as he went in. You can't say the same for anyone else in boxing. Toney is out after the last two Peter fights, and Wright is out since the Taylor fight. Mayweather simply doesn't get hit. ****, Judah's the only guy that tagged him on a regular basis, but you're crazy if you don't think Judah would land all over Wright and Toney (even though the effect might be minimal)
