Castillo/Hatton should be good.

Everything went according to plan in Hatton's fight. Everyone who had seen Urango fight before knew he was a joke and was going to get schooled. The Castillo fight didn't work out the same way. They expected Castillo to have an easy time with an inexperienced fighter who had never fought this level of opponent before. It turns out Castillo just wasn't that good and his close win combined with Hatton's boring style has really killed much of the anticipation this fight had before last Saturday...

Oh save it. Floyd was out on his feet against Corley....does that mean Corley is as good a fighter as Floyd? Your own logic is flawed.

Augustus is a tough fight for anyone, and anyone that watches boxing knows that. They aren't going to boxrec his 20 something losses and point it out like most of the newbies on this site do. Face it, you've only seen Augustus fight maybe once or twice....or you're going by word of mouth.

And I pointed out this fight was a showcase for both fighters that backfired. Castillo is a P4P best and Ngoudjo showed he's clearly a future champ with his performance.

Did Floyd win a close, disputed decision against Corley? No, the final scores all gave Corley one or two rounds. You can't even compare.

Look, don't start trying to hype up Augustus like he's something. He has a few losses on his record that he shouldn't have, but he's earned the majority of his 20-something losses. He's not that good of a fighter. Whenever he's stepped up to a top 10 level fighter he has gotten destroyed. The fact that he had a very close fight against Ngoudjo is proof that Ngoudjo is not a top 10 fighter at 140. If you think Castillo is still great at 140 after this performance, then you have to say Augustus is just as good as Castillo since they performed equally against the same fighter...

Floyd whipped Corley's ass, but besides....you're not giving credit where credit is due. You aren't taking into consideration that Augustus was a tough fight for Ngoudjo and in turn Ngoudjo is a tough fight for Castillo. That's simply because styles make fights and you're denouncing that idea completely.

That's why Floyd backed up on the ropes clinching to Corley?

You are arbitrarily giving/taking away credit from fighters due to "styles." All I know is at least 20 other guys have beaten Augustus and they didn't all have the same style. Are you saying that Castillo was tailor-made for Ngoudjo? You gotta be joking right? Remember, this was supposed to be a showcase fight. Ngoudjo was picked to make Castillo look good. The problem? Castillo just isn't that good anymore. There's a reason he drained himself to make 135 for such a long time and now that should be obvious...

I have absolutely no idea why you are bringing up Mayweather-Corley in this discussion. You bring him up as much as Hatton does...
