Castillo/Hatton should be good.

I'll take the Hatton that won tonight

    To win a SD

Over the JLC that won tonight

    1. Hatton showed he can jab/box a little when he realizes he's not going to be able to bully his opponent.

    2. JLC is more open defensively than Urango, at least he was against GoJo

    3. I CANT wait to see who wins the fight on the inside.

The Hatton that won tonight was up against a one punch, one hand fighter. JLC was fighting a dude who has quick hands and great defense, and will probably make big money in the future.

What Urango did in the 5th round against Hatton with the bodyshots that obviously hurt hatton,Castillo will do the entire fight.Castillo will destroy Hattons body and knock him out late,MARK MY WORDS!!!!

i reckon this fight is a mismatch in hatton's favour..............castillo is way past it imo and i believe hatton will win comfortably........

i'm willing to bet anyone that hatton beats castillo via UD!!

look at the two properly and you have to pick Hatton...castillo showed tonight he is too old and wartorn by now....however, he does deserver a payday.

I don't really know how Ngojou's performance tonight was an indicator of Castillo getting old, or other. He looked fine. Castillo was in there with a hungry guy who was in great shape, and showed he has the ability to fight a smart fight on the inside. I'd also hazard to guess that we'll see more of Ngojou in the future after his showing tonight.

I don't agree with the bold statement, because the two have the types of styles that make for an interesting fight. Everyone has been looking forward to seeing the two square off.....and it seems just now in light of their two tuneup performances nobody is in the mood anymore.

I think that's ridiculous. Hatton even said himself that he needed a fight against another P4P rival, and it's that simple. He was fighting Juan Urango and not Jose Luis Castillo. The fight was boring tonight, because he was matched up with a boring, plodding southpaw with zero boxing skill that closes his eyes every time he throws a combo.

I like both Hatton and Castillo and have the utmost respect for them as fighters but styles make fights.

Castillo will murder Hatton in the clinches and wont let him get away with all that holding. Castillo's body attack is relentless and he obviously did his homework watching the entire fight tonight from his locker room with his team.

It will be a great fight but IMO Castillo will win a dec.

The kid Castillo fought obviously has some good boxing skill in him, more than Hatton I'm pretty damn sure. You can't use that to compare how a Hatton fight would go since both generally throw caution to the wind and fight like hell. When I first heard of this fight as a possibility, I picked Castillo in a heartbreat. I've gotta say I think it's a toss-up and wouldn't be surprised to see either win a decision. If anyone's getting knocked out, I'd have to say it will be Hatton. It took Corrales to crack Castillo's jaw after 10 rounds of hell and Hatton doesn't pack nearly as good a punch.

Castillo's opponent was a good fighter. HBO brain washes you to think Castillo was either washed up or not taking him seriously. This would be a great fight.

Sorry but I'm with Moochi I just think Castillo might be a little to battle worn. It wasn't just Njodou it was Castillo himself. His punches didn't look crisp or seem to have speed to them. His pop was gone and he looked way to hitable on the inside where he usually had tremendous work rate and good upper body and head movement and positioning.

I dont think Castillo would be able to prevent Hatton from pop shot/clinch...punch punch clinch. Similar to how hatton defeated Tzu and how Ruiz defeated Evander. No disrespect to Castillo I really like him as a fighter but just think he is too shop worn.

True , but props to Herman Njodou for fighting the fight of his life. Castillo did look slow and his reflexes looked a little shot but I still think he beats Hatton in a close dec.

Also...Castillo didnt even take Njodou seriously at first. Only in the middle rounds where he realized he was in a fight did he step it up.
