Good lord. The man takes it to an out of shape, old Lewis, stops a fat Kirk Johnson, beats an old ex-golfer who's only claim to fame was a win over his kid brother, and, oh yeah....Humdilla.

Sorry, I was never overly impressed with Vitali; and feel his time off and fragile legs are going to lead to him getting beaten on any comeback bid.

    But, to each his own.

Vitali is the worst possible matchup for Peter.

But it would be sad if Peter loses his one chance to hold a belt due to this . He has a great chance to beat Mask and not a very good one Vs the rest of the champs let alone if Vit comes back in top form . I just mean it's a long way back and you never know what will happen .

Even if Vitali wanted to fight Maskaev next could he get ready in time? He should take it slow and just wait fot the Makaev vs Peters winner.

It will be nice if the only two losses in Peter's carrer are from Dr. Ironfist Klitschko and Dr. Steelhammer Klitschko

His inactivity has to count for something. I suppose he he was out until 2010 and wanted to come back he'd still get the nod over a guy who earned a shot.

Well, I'll say this. This certainly explains two dreams I had last night. I dreamt twice that Vitali was in the ring with Sam Peter (or David Tua, oddly enough...but was probably Peter) and after dishing out punishment for 8 rounds or, I think it was 8 rounds, Peter launches a right hand that drops him...spun him completely around. Somehow he got up by Kenny Bayless's count of 9; but Peter rushed in and caught him with a murderous left hook that knocked him cold and almost under the ropes.

I couldn't figure for the life of me why I was dreaming about Vitali fighting again. Now I get it.

Just admit it....you don't care if it's right or wrong, you just want to see your boy back in the ring with a belt around his waste. Oops..I meant waist.
