I'm probably the biggest Peter fan in the world but anything that can get Vitali back in the ring is worth postponing Peter's title shot. I'd rather see Vitali beat up Maskaev and defend against Peter than see Peter destroy Maskaev and not have Vitali fight again.

It's not fair to Peter but anything that will motivate Vitali to return to boxing and give the division the injection of talent it needs is worth it.

He can face Maskaev and then defend against Peter. Maybe with the injuries and the layoff, Peter can beat him. It'd be a tough fight for Sam though.
