I can see it now, Vitaly wins the fight but injures his shoulder or some **** and "requires" months to recover, before he can face peter. Meanwhile, Peter is relegated to fighting garbage men or risking losing his shot with a loss to a risky fighter, or even worse, stays inactive. I think this is seriously the biggest load of bull****, the WBC is a ****ing joke. Peter deserves the shot, Vitaly should have to wait till after Peter-Maskaev. But I'm sure it wont happen, Vitaly sees Makaev as the weakest guy and thats why he wants the fight. I wouldnt doubt that he has no interest fighting Peter at all.

after watching his brother take peter apart,,,,,he's probably be salivating to get him in the ring,,,peter probably wouldnt be able to land more than 5 punches a round against the taller vitali. no way in hell he could catch vit behind the head,,,thats peter's only way of winning here. of course this is if vitali is still close to the same fighter he was before
