Juan Diaz 100% Mexican. Apperentally there was a mistake

I dont know if anyone already posted this or disscussed this but apperentaly some sites had juan diaz born in Texas, but not long ago it was found out that he was actually born and raised in Huichuca Guerrero Mexico and now lives in Texas, boxrec.com and others had to change his nationality flag from American to Mexican, websites like wikipedia.net may still have not changed juand diaz's nationality yet along with some other boxers. did anybody else notice.

I don't like it but it is a reality in Mexican culture. I have seen a strong resentment toward Ponchos in my life. Most Latin fighters will not speak English on Camera, this is only beginning to change with Barrera and a few others. One notable is Jorge Paez who I met and he speaks perfect English. A friend of mine met Duran in DC a month ago and said his English was fluent also. So apparently it is not reserved for Mexican fighters to maintain this image.
