Juan Diaz 100% Mexican. Apperentally there was a mistake

I dont know if anyone already posted this or disscussed this but apperentaly some sites had juan diaz born in Texas, but not long ago it was found out that he was actually born and raised in Huichuca Guerrero Mexico and now lives in Texas, boxrec.com and others had to change his nationality flag from American to Mexican, websites like wikipedia.net may still have not changed juand diaz's nationality yet along with some other boxers. did anybody else notice.

Not sure why it's such a big deal. Diaz, like Rocky Juarez, will never be viewed like a true Mexican fighter by Mexican boxing fans. Unlike guys like Morales, Barrera, Marquez, etc.

Maybe it will help his popularity in Mexico. In Mexico the term Chicano(being Mexican born in the US) or Poncho ( half Mexican born in US) is considered a slur and you are looked down on.Children of European Immigrants born in Mexico with no Mestizo ties are more respected than Chicanos or Ponchos (Worst of the Worst there).
