Not sure why it's such a big deal. Diaz, like Rocky Juarez, will never be viewed like a true Mexican fighter by Mexican boxing fans. Unlike guys like Morales, Barrera, Marquez, etc.

I don't think it's a huge deal to Diaz, who just wants to be seen as a good fighter.

I dont know if anyone already posted this or disscussed this but apperentaly some sites had juan diaz born in Texas, but not long ago it was found out that he was actually born and raised in Huichuca Guerrero Mexico and now lives in Texas, boxrec.com and others had to change his nationality flag from American to Mexican, websites like wikipedia.net may still have not changed juand diaz's nationality yet along with some other boxers. did anybody else notice.

Diaz is american, hes made his life here, this is where he resides. Hes one of us in my book.
