What I'm saying is as fight fans we should be outraged that would have been a great fight two rangy bombers goin at it... there would definitely have been a knockout... it would have been a fantastic fight... But it'll never happen after Cotto puts it on him It's gonna be a wrap!!!!

That's why I don't know why the Floyd nuthuggers are all in arms about the Williams affair either. It's convenient how they used the "Floyd isn't ducking Tony....he's just looking for the big fight in Oscar"

Hmm.....sound familiar? Except this time the haters always just find something to ***** about. The REAL haters are the ones that keep denying the fact that Margarito will face Cotto...and keep whining about him ducking Williams.

LMFAO! He's gunning for Cotto but he's ducking Paul "The Punisher" Williams. That just sounds like a complete joke right there.
The thing is though, Tony has time to fight another fight before the Cotto fight, like Cotto is doing, and Tony is trying to get out of fighting his mandatory.
When you call yourself the most feared man in boxing and duck your mandatory, its straight up laughable.

When did Margarito address himself as "the most feared man in boxing"?

In fact all I've ever read, seen or heard was how he thought Floyd was ducking him. I don't remember him calling anyone else out...or claiming they were ducking him. I think those sentiments came from people labeling him as "The most feared man in boxing".

The Tijuana native sounded less than anxious, but willing to say his ‘I do’s’ by agreeing to step into the ring with the hard-hitting Williams in a post-fight interview with Showtime’s Jim Gray.

“If he’s (Williams) the number one ranked contender,” Margarito said through interpreter Felix DeJesus, “then I have to fight him

Think he allows people to call him the most feared man in boxing against his will??
You should have seen his website a few months ago before Clottey made him looked ******.
It was plastered with "number one welterweight," "true welterweight champ" and "most feared man in boxing" bull****.

What can you say? He's a hypocrite plain and simple. After all the talk, Margarito turns out to be a hypocrite.

You can't be serious. Margarito signed letters under that moniker available on *********.com. It was all over his website. You wonder why people hate Margarito, yet you haven't even heard the **** that comes out of his mouth.

here is the problem, when you spend 10-15 years trying to build up a career in boxing, you want to make money out of it, and it's tough to get well known around the world and get wiped-out by an opponent without earning big paychecks, you got to give
Mayweather credit for being undefeated in throughout his career, now he gets to choose and pick his fights, why? he is pound for pound #1
Now when he fought Baldomir it was a less risky fight than w/Margarito,
same thing here Margarito fighting cotto would get a bigger payday for margarito which he never earned an 7 figure paycheck yet, point is when you are on top you get to pick and choose or at least lay back, when you are coming-up like williams you got to fight anybody not for money but to get big fights to earn a big paycheck in the future, Margarito been there done that's why he is choosing cotto over williams to get a bigger paycheck case close
