Hatton: I'll go down as greatest

Ok, Hatton is being a bit unrealistic if he thinks he's going to scale anywhere near Big len's heights - I mean Hatton has been the champ at one weight and hasn't fought enough top contenders at 140 to be considered as dominating the division for any length of time.
And I think it does count against him that he's moved down, sure, but as for him fighting Urango before Castillo, that's much better than the dross someone like Margarito has been serving up. The belts don't mean much these days, but thats precisely because the best fighters don't win them and unify them, Hatton is bringing credibility back to the belts by fighting for them rather than taking some p*ss poor warm up then fighting Castillo for nothing.
And as far as Hatton ducking Urkal - Black Jesus come on you're a much better poster than that - he moved down because he wasn't completely comfrotable at the weight and saw as much realistic opportunity for big fights at 140 as at 147. He's not ducking anyone, he's just not chasing Mayweather, and no rational person would ever blame anyone but hatton for a Mayweather-Hatton fight not happening.Comment

I can ****ing read. I just think to say that Lennox Lewis had mixed results when he was the number one Heavyweight for four years straight is utter bollocks.Comment

No, Mayweather didnt actully say that.
Floyd has been looking to fight Ricky forever, and Ricky doesnt want the fight.
Frankly, I cant blame him.Comment

Agreed Dark Spyder, although if Ricky keeps swapping belts he might set some record for Brit with the most world championship belts over a career
WBU(haha), WBA, IBF, WBA welter......Comment

Well Margirito's mandatory poses a legit threat to him.
A tall, lanky undefeated fighter with many knockouts.
Situations are different.Comment

Hatton was exposed by Collazo, and that was not even one of Callazo's good performances. It is just a question of time before Hatton's weaknesses are exposed again. He can spend the rest of his career chasing easy fights, but he can not change the fact that he got lucky with the judges and that Collazo certainly deserved a rematch.Comment

But if he beat Mayweather, which he will, you could make an argument for Hatton being the greatest fighter, in the world ever.
Mayweather is the best I've ever seen.Comment
