Well at the time Hawkins was 34, and only lost by KO once, as you said by Oleg. Now, Oleg is 37 and will be 38 in march and has lossed by KO several times. So yes I think by the time they will fight, Oleg will be less durable than the younger man who absorbed less punishment, peter fought a couple of years ago. This is the same with Pudar and Shufford, at the time of their respective fights with peter, they were younger and between them only had one loss by TKO, unlike Oleg. Also, take into account that Peter has improved significantly over a short period of time. Look how he adapted to James Toney's slippery style. Granted Toney didn't have the power to hurt Peter, but his adaption shows progress. This is why I think, and would bet, that Peter would blow Oleg out of the ring between rounds 4-6.

he very well may blow oleg out,,,we'll see. Im still not sold on peter being much improved. he was just out of shape against toney the first time around and I have seen peter do similar things in some previous fights when he was also in shape and not just looking to head hunt with guys he knew he'd just overwhelm like that julius long joke,,and with wlad he could never really get set becuase of wlads long jab...movement and wlad tying him up on the inside. we'll know more about peter after maskeav as at least maskeav is strong and should be able to pressure peter more than the naturally smaller toney. I still think oleg hangs in there for 6 rounds or so before peter's physical strength just becomes too much. we'll see

Well if Peter shows up 10 pounds heavier like in the past, then Oleg takes him out. This new inshape Peter will be hard for Oleg to not get tagged by the back of the head shots. You guys forget that most of those if not all of the shots Toney was tagged with were still to the back of the head. I realize Toney does turn but those would still be behind the ear.
