I can't believe the hate Ibragimov received for getting a (contested) draw over Austin. He didn't even lose, in fact many thought he won that fight. Is it because the awkward and strong Austin knocked him down? Anyone can get knocked down in a fight. Iron chinned James Toney was knocked down by a Sam Peter jab. I guess Toney's chin sucks too right?

You can't count both fighters out, just to make it simple. This is the heavy weight peeps and one punch can change the complexion of the fight.

no of course not. my problem is with the ones that think briggs has such a better chance of winning and that is overrating briggs as he's much too limited an overall fighter to be such a big favorite here and there are a lot of people that overrate him on here. thats a fact

shannon briggs chin is not as bad as some people say, he took some shots from lewis that are much harder than anything igbraminov will deliver to him.

briggs outweighs sultan by 40 pounds and hits much harder, sultan will get hit when he trades and he will not be able to take briggs punch IMO

So Briggs is an upper echelon heavyweight for...losing to garbage (I disagree about Serige being garbage, but anyway) for 11 rounds and then scoring a last second knockout? If Sergei sucks, so does Briggs. Briggs did not prove himself to be the dominant fighter in that fight to me. I'm not sure who I'd bet on in Briggs-Sergei II. Pick 'em fight for me.

Comparing a Briggs on the fringe of a title to a Briggs who currently holds a title and will be defending it in his hometown against a nobody, spells bad news.

Don't give me this crap about robberies because I know Briggs Robbed Foreman. It doesn't change the fact that Briggs was the linear Heavyweight Champion of the World. He has a ton of recognition, moreso than a Sultan from overseas who will feel like he's in the twilight zone before getting KTFO.

Ibragimov fights here, but won't be comfortable in this fight.
