We need congress to get involved and regulate the sport of boxing. The problem is that Don King was a major supporter of George Bush's campaign. What does it say about a president when he associates himself with Don King? Maybe John McCain will get in next election. It's a long shot, but if that were to happen we'd be getting on the right track.

John McCain is an even bigger douche. I respect his service to our country, but as a politician he is as slimy as the rest of them. He tried to get mma banned in the mid 90s, not because it was dangerous as he claimed, but because his 2nd wife is the chairman of a large Anheiser-Busch distributor. Back then, Budweiser was a HUGE money backer of boxing AND McCain. McCain is owned by special interests just like the rest of them, it's just that he is not honest enough to admit it.

Speaking of his 2nd wife; his 1st wife stuck with him while he was a POW. She even suffered a bad car accident and required cruthes to walk. Soon after being freed, McCain had numerous extra-marital affairs and ended up leaving her and marrying the 2nd wife mentioned above.
