It kills me to say it, and I'm hoping it's actually just a result of trying to make the weight in a division he doesn't belong in, but my boy Chico has been looking pretty spent since the second Casamayor fight. A little glaze over the eyes, slurring his words more, so on and so forth. The scary part is that his career at lightweight only lasted about six fights and he couldn't make the weight anymore... Chico, get better or get out buddy, you've got nothing left to prove in this sport.

Damn, I respect that you would give that up regarding one of your favorite fighters. It's hard to let our boys go..

Chico has really given himself to his art. I hope he's not too broken.

Dude his back problems are cause for concern rather than his chin and his ability to take a good shot. He'll be better of at 160.

Weight drained & Severe back problems will cause you to look slow and lethargic. He aint the same as before thats fo sho but I wouldnt say he is a completely shot fighter.

And please take back the "convalescent" comment pls.

I hate to say it but Roy may be shot just as anyone else. He can probably still whip numerous boxers, but competing against the big names will prove to be tragic.

Yes good post. Roy is shot.
The damage from the first Tarver beating took it's toll.
Roy will fall like an oak tree the next time his chin meets up with a fighter with heavy hands.
