I'll always think that Tarver beating Roy was one of the most unique events in sports history. Tarver is garbage.

I was beside myself when people thought Tarver would beat Hopkins.

Tarver owned just Roy Jones. Tarver wasn't a superstar fighter, ever.

Tarver is so unathletic I'm surprised he got as far as he did.

    But owned Roy's mind somehow.

Roy was at the end of his career, while Tarver used his win against an over the hill opponent to make him known and im glad he got demolished by Hopkins.

Maybe not completely at the end.

He had just beat Ruiz for a heavyweight title.

True, but also Tarver had the style that was basically Roy's kryptonite

            Yeah, you're right.

It was Ruiz for God's sakes...

Roy Jones is far from the fighter he was but he's nowhere near as shot as Morrales, Holyfeild and Vargas! THE shottest fighter? Mercer mabey. Im not delusional, i can see the decline in Roy but im not QUITE prepared to write him off just yet!

I agree wholeheartedly. I won't write off Jones.

If he gets his confidence back he could surprise us all.

Tarver is a decent fight and Roy Jones had a bit trouble with southpaws if you seen him fight PR named DiValla you could know why.

vut Tarver is a decent fighter he came to the top of his wieghtclass even though many boxing fans discredit him.

he started last was cracky and built himself to be world champion is just amazing thing and now he is into acting to.

Vargas could make it as an actor too start and even Roy Jones

Yeah, I guess Vargas was in a movie.

                    Did anyone see that?

You should have seen Vargas before Trinidad turned him into Jake LaMotta.

Vargas had so much charisma he reminded me of a Tupac - energy wise.

I can relate to RJJ trying to come back. I've followed Tito's career since the amateurs and he's going through the same as RJJ. These are very accomplished fighters who once their lives settle down and they start living as normal human beings they feel tempted to fight again and get all the hype going. I think Tito's insane after his devastating loss to Winky to even consider climbing back in the ring. Tito as well as RJJ should get their licenses revoked for their own good. They were legends and surely first ballot HOFs, but time has come to move on.

BTW addisonrock, you didn't ask my permission to get a pic of Crissy in there, she's one of my loved ones.
