Are you drunk man? Kessler wants to fight Calzaghe, it's Cal who does not want any part of Kessler.

whoopty ****ing doo, that is so far from home. it's like saying that an american fighter is a world traveled fighter because he fought in tijuana, twice.
or fought in another state in the US. it's might as well be home, like his promoter doesn't have ties in those countries, why do you think he fought over there because he's covered, that's the only reason he fought out of town. i say town because everything is so close in europe.

i aint getting on you bro but damn dude that isnt really isnt taking a risk, other than getting into the ring.

my thing is this Calzaghe is a extremely good fighter, why does he need all the boxing politics to protect him? why does he need shifty match making to his career? why isnt he fighting the top opposition in and around his division? it's either frank warren is trying to cash in on him as much as possible or it's that they're afraid to step outside his comfort zone. and i'm sick and tired of hearing that Calzaghe makes more money in his home town, that's bull**** because at this point it ought to be about staying undefeated and beating the best opposition out there, not fighting has beens and guys that aren't ready yet, 98% of which have been in Calzaghes turf......

and why doesn't Calzaghe fight Kessler and try and unify?why?uh?why?

Calzaghe is after Hopkins, he's fighting for legacy, not messing about with European idiots.

Please Don't give JC another excuse for ducking Kessler by offering him a fight against a 42 year old grandpa

I think I see what is going on though.
Fight Manfredo for the U.S.A TV exposure and take on a bigger name after.

Well Joe talks the talk and thats about all he does really as far as I see it.

                  He ran out of time.

                  Peter Manfredo

                  There is no justifying this.

If you want to become a run of the mill champion and cash in then good luck to you.
                  Continue as is.

But there is no way you will pass off a defence against Peter Manfredo and get away with it.

exactly, nothing against Manfredo but like you said there is no justify the fight really, and as far as exposure in the states at least Hamed fought Kevin Kelley in his debut in the states, a former world champ who was still competitive at the time, now after that fight kelley fell off, but at least he was still a hard fight for Hamed.

Joe needs to do the same, fight a real name, someone with something to gain. i hope Manfredo makes it a hell of a fight for warren and calzaghe thinking he's easy pickens.............

Perhaps Kessler could try out for The Contender next year and hope it leads to a fight with Calzaghe down the road
