Pacquiao Calls Barrera Out To Fight

The name calling of Barrera in this thread is ludicrous.

How can you defame a man who has stepped into the ring with Morales three times and gone to war in those fights, got in there with the undefeated murderous puncher Prince Hamed and bullied him, went life and death with Kennedy McKinney, and went toe-to-toe with the much younger Rocky Juarez in their first fight (even after getting buzzed).

Oh, and despite all the things he was going through the night of the Pac fight, he went through with the fight and took his punishment. How many guys even take a fight like that--with that risk and such little reward (Pac was largely unknown to mainstream fans before that night).

He's shown more guts than 98% of the guys out there right now and since he boxes his way to a win over Juarez in the rematch (clearly to preserve the Pac rematch) people start calling him names??? Talk about 'what have you done for me lately?'. Come on.

If anyone honestly believes Barrera is scared, please reconsider whom you're talking about.

I think its going to happen, I read this article on another website and GBP was saying that they didnt want to get in the way of this fight happening But that their not taking Bob aurums deal he was offering, they want a 50/50 split. What do you guys think? thats fair no?

Barrera will school Pacquiao this time around no doubt, Pacquiao has never been really tested only by Juan Manuel Marquez and Marquez isnt on the same level as Barrera

What site? Why would GBP concede Pac to Arum at this point? Somebody PLEASE tell me how Pac's personal "preference" that he announced this week should matter AT ALL in the litigation?

In the 2nd fight, MAB outbox Rocky cuz Rocky just didn't do too much. Well, Pac likes to go forward and MAB might not be able to perform like what he did to Rocky.

OK, nevermind my comment about Golden Boy conceding. I just saw the report and I understand now that Schaefer is not giving up on getting Pac's services, just sending a nice offer out there to Pac for the fight. Arum probably won't accept this deal (though it's not really his deal to accept or reject), so don't expect this to work out.

How many offers made in public like this ever come off? It is, however, a nice response to Pac "choosing" Top Rank press conference.

GBP is saying to Arum: so you have Pac, take this great deal for he and Top Rank, which you'll get after you beat us in court! GBP is thinking: we have Pac, and we'll get 100% of the promotional revenue, Bob!

Read that in another site also. GBP said they want to fight in march but i believed Pac wants it in april.

Oh, and this pretty much confirms that Barrera is willing to do WHATEVER to get the rematch done, so please stop insulting the man.

Even if the offer is shady on GBP's part (meaning not a legit, official offer--mostly a PR one), if something is worked out before the case is decided in court, DLH has, in essence, partnered with Arum on a fight...which he has recently repeatedly said he'd never do.

The promoters wants their own events so they can get all the profits. But if GBP and Top Rank does not agree to a deal between Pac vs MAB, then its not only the fans lost but also lost money for both promoters. Pac vs MAB will bring in big bucks. GBP and Top Rank don't want to miiss out on those money.
