Oh yeah that's right, Benn was a masterful boxer puncher that picked his shots and mostly threw straight punches right?

I think I've seen enough of this thread. LOL.

Nobody said all that. But for the most part Benn threw shorter, tighter punches than a Foreman or Margarito.

Edison Miranda, his punches seem to forfeit the technique, although not as much as foreman's

What, they didn't throw wide looping shots that could hurt guys?

Limon's punches were wide and ugly as hell. But he could hurt you with them.

                  Just like Iran Barkley.

Sometimes he could shorten them up, or throw some nice double left hooks (like against Duran), but he often threw wide looping hooks.

Some of Benn's punches were very wide and wild, when he got carried away. But mostly, he had excellent punching technique - nice, short, tight, snappy, crisp punches, and under Jimmy Tibbs his technique changed a little where he'd have his feet very firmly planted and hips locked, designed to make his punches even more solid (though not as concussive) while not wasting as much motion because he was fighting guys naturally bigger than him and needed lasting effect as well as needing to last. He didn't waste many shots at all under Tibbs (Galvano '92 through Giminez '94), was a complete fighting machine.
