    I'm interested in Tszyu's and McCallum's mostly... ??

I know what Benn and Hatton did/do, but wouldn't mind seeing what it has for them.

This is that book thing, right?

Don't buy this book, it's a terrible read, no detailed workout regimens described in there, and frankly half of them were probably made up. I really regret buying it. This could be an ok book for a peasant with some reading skills but not for any self-respecting individual who knows how to keep in shape. Thaks for reading!

I didn't mean any disrespect to you but I guess I did indirectly sort of, my apologies!

A real page flipper is George Foreman's book, the only good thing about this one was the photo of Kostya with the tennis ball was it that was attached to his head with an elastic band. Other than that, I don't rememer anything good, just look at the author, his physique tells it all, and his recommended work-out regimens, well they have the most substance in terms of actual writing but you can find probably better advice from a juice monkey that benches 405 but can't do 2 chin-ups. Besides, their core knowledge is about chronic back pains and messed up joints.

You want a good work-out book, get anything by Mackie Shilstone. The guy is one of the 50 most influential people in boxing and he's a freaking guru. His insight is incredible.

Jim Hellwig says all he ever did was squats, stiff-legged deadlifts, incline presses, flat dumbell presses, pulldowns, pulley rows and pushdowns - three days a week and ate five high-protein meals a day. He says everybody else was slogging away doing five hours worth of shoulders and biceps and juicing themselves up to the gills, while he was in and out of the gym in half an hour and had better shoulders and biceps than any wrestler. He says if he juiced as much as some of the guys, he'd be so big he wouldn't even be able to shake the ropes. So he hints he didn't juice much either.

                    Cool.

                    Hellwig was a great boxer.

                      Terry Norris

What time did u gert up?

                      6:00 a.m.

Did u stretch before your run?

                      Yes, 20 minutes full stretch

                      How far did run?

                      6-8 miles

What did you do after your run?

I went home and had breakfast, then rested.

What did you eat for breakfast?

Scrambled eggs, hash browns, orange juice and water

What time did you go to the gym?

                      Anywhere b/w 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

What time did you lrave the gym?

I worked out for 2-3 hours each day at the gym, so usually around 6:00 pm

And the ****** questions and answers go on for 111 pages. And then he gives you his workout programs.

This book could've been great if the idea was approached better. For example, don;t ask ****** ass questions where you get the same ol dumb answers, just spend some time with the boxers in training camp and put down some quality notes about what they do meaning "specifics". I was fooled to buy to order this book because Thomas Hauser talked about it and I respect his insight on boxing the most. I shouldn;t have taken his positive word for it knowing that he hadn't read it himself but he probably thought that the book would be developed the same way I thought it would be.
