** The HW division, what a farse...**

The HW is becoming the worst division in boxing....4 title holders that with all honesty could have aspire to be maybe journeyman in the bigone era of the Golden age of the HW's....

Vladimir Klitschko- a KO waiting to happen

Valuev-nothing more than a circus act....no skills and who ever said he does, please better buy a copy of "Boxing for Dummies"

Oleg Maskaev-won the title on one of the most boring HW fights I saw up to that date...worst that any HW fights on ESPN Friday night fights..a disgrace for Rahman, but he has walk that path before...many times...

Briggs- well up to Rahman v. Maskaev that was the worst but then came Sergie and Shannon...OMG....this was painful to watch....to Serguei's credit he was not 100% beggin Kenny Weldon not to cancel the fight....and Shannon a man that can threw more than 13 punches per round for more than 3 rounds ....embarrasing...

I want to see Peter v. Vladdy;s rematch and maybe finallywe can start unifiying with worth while boxers....

    Man! You are absolutely right!

I think that what the HW division needs, is for YOU to strap on the gloves and go save the division! Go get em, tiger!

Obviously by the sarcastic tone of your reply, you are a fan of mediocre boxing matches...so maybe I will...BTW...I was a boxer I am 49 years old and now I traine boxers...so I do know what I am talking about..and if for a moment you think otherwise...then you need to re-asses your boxing taste since yo obviously like B ttpe boxers...the best of the crop is Vladdy and he has mayor flaws, on his footwork and balance that has not been corrected nor even address yet....He has a questionalble chin, he folds under pressure, the fact that he has not has the ball to avengue his loses, instead he had his brother do it for him, speaks volumes of the type of boxer heis...he got lucky agaisnt Peter...I don;t think he get lucky twice....he got lucky against DeVariell...he beat an obviously under power Byrd that fought a suisidal plan...I am not impress by the HW division nor your comments....

        Argh!!!Argh!!!
I know what we need, we need Stallone to lace em up and get these straps.
Stallone is America's only hope for an unified american champ.

Although I disagree with the extreme hate of the HWs, the ages of the fighters have to be brought up. There has to be some youth in the division really soon, or I don't know what will happen. It might be worse than it is now, so enjoy it while you can. I'd rather see Brewster/Vlad, Toney/Maskaev, and Peter/Briggs(or Sultan) myself before talking about unifying, but that's just me. And that will never happen :\ Vlad/Maskaev is the worst possible matchup to me, so with the way things are going, that's more believable. There's some good matchups, but I don't know if Vlad/Maskaev will help at all

                "He has a questionalble chin"

Really? Is this why he took Peter's best shot (left hook to the jaw) in their fight and did not go down like everyone else Peter hit with it did? I thought you knew a lot about boxing. You apparently only know to get on the "Wlad-has-a-glass-chin" bandwagon without actually thinking about what you're saying.

                "he folds under pressure"

When did he do that? Im trying to think of a time I have seen him do it, and I can't come up with one. Please provide a valid example.

"the fact that he has not has the ball to avengue his loses"

Your abhorrent grammar and spelling aside, are you telling me that you can read minds now? You have some psychic insight to how and what Wlad thinks at any given time?

You tell me you know boxing, but the more you say, the less I beleive it. If you did, you'd know several things. Not the least of which has to do with managers and promoters of both sides determining who fights who. We have heard Wlad say that he wants a rematch with Brewster, personally. Bud did it ever occur to you that Brewsters group knows what a beating would await him if they put their man back up against Wlad? Apparently not.

If you've been in the boxing business for as long as you say, then you know that shady dealings are a huge part of boxing, like it or not. And you also know that Don King and Arum are both about as honest as a convicted felon. Do you argue either of those statements? If you do, you are either a liar, or so unbeleivably gullible, you have no business training anyone or being anywhere near a pair of gloves.

And if you agree with the statements above, do you really find it that hard to believe that something was afoul during the Wlad/Brewster fight? Of course you dont. Someone fixing a fight? Never happen! (there's more sarcasm for you)And especially Don King (Brewsters promoter) fixing a fight? Come on!

"I am not impress by the HW division nor your comments"

And I can pretty well assure you that the HW division is not impressed with you. Why don't you post your record for us?

I can't say too much either for the HWs, but Klitschko seems to be the real deal, I mean Emanuel Steward, arguably the best trainer in the game today thinks so, if he's puttin in so much time with him. And you can't really say Wlad's fights lately have been bad, his two in 2006 resulted in brutal KO's.

I'm still a Toney fan though, his fights are entertaining.

I think you might have been a little bit harsh on this thread but I can understand your frustration with the HWs. Its been boring for a while now, I would rather see a pair of good welterweights, light-middleweights or middleweights go at it.
