They're only wasted words if they didn't get through you're hate-addled brain and show you the illogic of your thought processes in this matter. But apparently you dont believe in reason or logic. If you did, the words would not be wasted. Its a shame really, but I honestly didnt expect you to come around anyway. But hey, I tried.

"and he did waht Emanuel teach him grab, grag . grab"

And as you may recall, George Foreman himself; former HW champ and boxing LEGEND (are YOU a boxing legend? I dont think so) said himself that this was SMART BOXING, you ******. He said you do what you have to do to take away the other guys advantage. I would imagine this is something a boxing trainer like you claim to be would know. Im beginning to think that you really arent a trainer, cause if you are, your fighters are lucky to win fights if they listen to you.
"Vladdy, didn't took Peter's best shot"

He didnt? That wasn't a big left hook that I saw Peter hit Wlad with? You might want to watch the fight again, there, big boy. And it's the same punch he laid out Jeremy Williams, and Taurus Sykes with. His big money punch. Unless you consider the rabbit punch to the back of the head Peter's best punch. Cause he does love to use it.

"last I remembered he was down 3 times "

In that respect, you have a selective memory. True, the ref did call three knockdowns, but if you have eyes and saw the replays of the knockdowns, or if you have ears and heard what the commentators, one of them a former HW champion by the name of George Foreman, you know that at least two of them were not legit, and resulted from Wlad being PUSHED to the canvas, not the result of any punch being landed by Peter. If you like, I'll post a clip of it, and prove you wrong. This is why I say all you've done is jump on the Hey-everyone-lets-hate-Wlad bandwagon.

"If you know boxing dude, you should know that Vladimir has mayor flaws on his balance and footwork,"

I seem to recall him being called by many boxing analysts as the most agile big boxer they have ever seen. And in fact, this is one of the reasons Manny Steward chose to train Wlad for. But I suppose you know more than they do.

"he relies on his jab and jab/hook and it served him well but by the same token it has limits his ability to "really" control a fight "

Seems to me, control the fight with his jab is EXACTLY what he does, and in fact, it's key to his winning. Just ask Sam Peter, who got his ass pummelled with it all night long before losing the fight. Or ask Chris Byrd who was nailed with it constantly or ask Calvin Brock, or any of the other opponents that have lost to Wlad. You idiot.

"And yes he has a glass chin, how many times he has been down, come dude you know that"

Nothing wrong with his chin. If you actually saw his fights, you'd know that many of the KDs he's been counted at were bogus, just like with Peter's kds. They weren't legit. Would you like me to a video clip to prove this? I'll be happy to do it.

"Vladdy just don;t have this drive"
So you CAN read Wlad's mind? You know what his thoughts and emotions are? How do you do it?

"he has been shielded for obvious reasons from the heavy punchers"

You mean like he was "shielded from fighting the biggest puncher in the division? Oh that's right. HE DID FIGHT HIM. So much for your "shield" idea.

"So what else that head of your can produce...come...."

It's really the LACK of what your head is able to produce that really astonishes me here. You're getting proven wrong right and left, and yet you blindly, idiotically (you may have to look that one up) charge ahead, refusing to believe what has been proven to you to be true.

It's like talking to a child with you. Really. Sheesh.
Man you like to listen to the sound of the keyboard on your computer...there's nothing of value on your 1,000 short strory bud...nothing...facts are facts....

Vladdy: Weak Chin, bad footwork and balance...best of a bad crop....an agressive puncher will always give him trouble....

Valuev: no skills merely size...a circus act...John Ruiz should have retained his title , he got screwed...

Oleg Maskaev; ...perfect match for Vladdy...I am so impressed....

Briggs: ... another huge surprize and a perfect example on ow depleted the talent is on this divison...

Now, read it and absorbd it and agree...these are fact...facts dude....can argue with facts...chump!!

Same goes for Europenas Sacha Dimitrenko , QUOTE]

I have seen a couple of Dimitrenko's fights and that kid can punch. He reminds me of a young, unpolished Wlad or Vitali, in that he's tall, and he FIGHTS tall, as he should. He also loves to pop out that nasty jab he's got and land a big right hand when he can.

I look for him to go places.

Dont know much about Povetkin, but Ima try and find some of his fights on YouTube later tonight.

What amazes me about you is how agressively ignorant you can stay. All this evidence to the contrary of your veiwpoint has been put forward for you. Irrefutable evidence, no less, yet you still remain as idiotic as ever.

It's like telling a child something very important. Perhaps even for their own edification, and having that child look at you dumbly and say "Nuh Uh!"

And frankly, you've lost your novelty. I now dub you officially, a waste of time.

The real novelty is your over excitment and praise of medicority....yes mediocrity and if you can see that ...then what's the npoint....I been on this game for along time, and I have seen the decay of the HW as it produces less and less talent...the NFL, the NBA, etc...are were all the dreat HW talents are going too....no surpirze that the Eastern Europeans are cornering the market on the HW's....they have been doing this sistematically for 15 years and it is finally paying off. but with that we have lost one of the mayor strongholds that the US has ever had on a division...

Boytsov is worth watching. Have you seen hime?

                  To the threadstarter:

I will not try to insult you, as perhaps you are indeed a knowledgeable fan. But this HW bashing has become a tired cliche. The division is in fact deep; the problem is not the talent but the matchmaking. The top of the division is perhaps slim, with flawed fighters like Wlad and Peter. But it is easy to glorify the past, and perhaps harder to appreciate the positive attributes of the guys we have.

Too many people are captivated b y the mistaken notion that a division is only good when there's a clear-cut king. I don't understand that. If there were good matches I'd live with the lack of clarity.

The NFL and the NBA have nothing to do with this. Basketball talent and boxing talent would hardly ever combine in an individual anyway.

Wrong...its not about the basketball skills or football skils is about body type, and big guys with coordination skills...that's what is about...

I have a freshman DE from OSU that I trained, 6'6" 295, and the lites feet I seen on a guy that size, speed coordination and a quick learner, he is a natural for boxing, the only reason he traines with me is that it helps him in football....and that's say it all ....whe I talking about this issue is because I live it dude. he has brought a couple of other OSY player for me to trained....but only him I may add can stay with the tough training disicipline of a boxer....
