I've noticed that British boxers have to do 10 times more to get any recognition here

But Anorak, I disagree.
Hatton and Joes opposition have been severly questionable throughout their careers, and they have built padded, undefeated records in their home countries.
Joe has still shown an unwillingness to leave Wales, and may not leave for his entire career, which would leave alot of questions.
Hatton leaves the United States, then looks poor against a good fighter, albiet one he was expected to blow out of the water, then moves down a weight divison and fights a guy with 17 wins. Not to impressive.
I feel as though it doesnt matter where you are from, if you have a padded record and have taken steps down in competiton after the biggest fight of your career, your bound to get criticism, and I think its well deserved.
(Note: I dont mean padded in the sense of "all they fought was bums LOL PWNED. What I mean is they havent faced the caliber of fighters that many champions today have and their record displays that.)Comment
