hes an olympic gold medalist, hes a good lookin' guy, hes got tons of skill, hes a champion in more divisions than anyone else, and a lot of money has been invested in him to be a success.

taver's a crackhead. just cuz he doesnt understand something doesnt mean its complicated, it just means hes a moron.

I would like to see the ppv numbers broken down by race. Oscar will never have the cross over appeal like Tyson,ALI & Leonard.Ali & Leonard had help they had other fighters that bought drama to thier fights. TYson had the unexpected.Other than the first Mosely fight I cant recall a History making fight from him.
The Trinidad fight was the highest selling fight under the heavyweight division.

When will there be an interview where Tarver doesn't bring up Roy Jones Jr? Surely he realizes that just because he beat Roy twice does not mean he is better than him or that he could have beaten him if Roy was younger.

Tarver needs to get Roy's name out of his mouth and start fighting again. Go after guys like Adamek, Briggs, Woods, and start to build yourself a legacy.

Well, who else did he beat?

Harding (took him 2x like it did when he beat Roy). Glen Johnson (2x again). Old Reggie johnson?

          Crack?

Well Hardng and Johnson were good top 5-10 guys at 175 so I give him credit, but he's got more work to do if he wants a real legacy amongst hardcore fans.

I think crack was number 6 p4p at the time when Tarver beat it. I guess he deserves some credit for that.

Because the Mexican/Mexican American market is a pretty big market in boxing.

man tarver has to be pretty goddam ******.
WInky doesnt sell fights because it doesnt matter who hes in with the fight will not be exciting. Put him in with felix trinidad, winky dominates him but the fight sucks. Now nobody will ever buy a winky fight again because its boring, and theres no suspense. You know winky will try to win a boring fight without getting hit, and hitting the least he has to to win a round.
Same with mayweather fights aren't exciting, so therefore nobody wants to pay 50 bucks to be bored to death.
I dont know that much about roy jones, but was he similar to floyd in the fact that he had boring fights for the most part?
also look at the guys de la hoya fought, hes fought ever legend within 5 weight divisions in his time. also all of these fights were entertaining thats why he sells. He has the typeof fan appeal none of teh guys tarver named have.

Or need two times to beat Glen Johnson and Eric Harding.
but got KOed when he was abit younger

anyway Tarver is right if you see now many exciting young fighters are owned by GBP that leave Don King, Arum and Shely and Divaulla empty handed in the future.

Oscar De La Hayo is the strongest person in boxing right know and there is no doubt about it
