    Hamed's power

I've been watching some of Hamed's old fights recently
Clearly he hit very hard for his size.
Why was he able to hit so hard?was it due to his thighs?

Yeah, he had big legs, though definitely due to the fact that he leaped with most of his punches. Very similar to Manny. These little guys know how to use what they got, and when you got big legs, why just use your upperbody when you got so much power in your legs? Leap and lunge with your shot getting all the power up through your legs and out your fists. That's the way to do it.

He might have hit hard, but all he hit was over-the-hill fighters and bums. The only fighter Hamed fought who was good and totally in his prime was Marco Antonio Barrera, who gave him a boxing lesson. Youtube has the whole fight in two parts. Watch it and realise how bad Hamed really was. Nothing more than a jumped-up wanker.

I hate him for making everyone wait an extra hour coz he didn't like the way his gloves felt. I hate him coz he thinks he's the hottest looking dork on Earth. I hate him for praying with a microphone just before the fight started with Barrera (there's some talk about him wanting this fight on the Holiest week for Christians so he can prove to his fellow ******s that Allah is with them and not Christians). I hate him for coming to the ring on a t****ze.

I loved it when someone threw alcohol on that rat faced ****er. I loved it when Barrera was beating his ass on the start of the fight. I loved it when Barrera shoved his face into the corner. I loved it when Barrera refused to tap gloves with Hamed after slamming his face into the corner.

That was a great night for boxing fans all around the world. Barrera dethrowns the clown prince.

              Cool, I got your point.

Naz packed a punch, but I very much doubt it would have taken down the likes of Morales or Pacman today. Hamed was only about ten or fifteen times overrated. Amir Khan reminds me of Hamed, and I reckon he'll go the same direction as Hamed, south...

he reminds you of hamed?......His boxing style is very different to Hameds. Its obvious to any1 with half a brain hamed had more talent then what khan has,at 19/20. Im not really a fan of either...but I am interested to know why you think they are similar....because they are ******?

                  (Bold) Good point.

His attitude and his flashiness reminds me of Hamed. Both scrap really laid back, Khan drops his hands like Hamed, dances around like Hamed, and thinks he's the **** like Hamed. Religion doesn't come into it, my friend.

Hamed was much more unorthadox then Khan...and heir personalties are very diff....hamed would generaly be slagging off opponents, comming to the ring being hoisted in the air.....I think Khan is much more reserved. Sometimes I guess confidence can be mistaken for arrogance...there is a huge differance in styles and personalty when it comes to these two. Both over-rated. But not as similar as you suggest. Khans talking up a world title shot next year....is unlikely with Warren I think
