Pretty Boy Floyd vs Jermain Taylor

After Floyd breaks oscar may 5th i say he shouldnt retire.
I say he should take a chance and fight the middle weight
champion jermain taylor in his final fight. Yes jermain is bigger
stronger and fast but he is predictable sloppy and he gets
    tired early.

I think this could be an easy fight if mayweather speed and
pop carries well. He could fight jermain at 158 or something
or like how hopkins and oscar fought at 155. it wouldnt be
no difference from where he is at now.

and if floyd lose they could always say jermain was jsut too big
and everyone expected him to lose. but i give floyd a very good
shot at beating jermain by UD. i can see jermain looking gassed
after missing so many shots trying to knockout the P4P best fighter in the world because he was the smaller man.
I see floyd cruising to the end with pot shots and even moving
    the gassed champion back.

Probably because the best fighter your country has to offer wants no part of him, so i guess the "wish" factor has set in for you, i understand. Since Hatton certainley nearly soiled himself at 147.

Floyd's scared of him. He ran away like a little girl when Hatton blocked his way at the Hopkins v Taylor fight.

Yep, 154 is where Floyd should stop. And to be honest I dont really want him at 147.

154 is only acceptable because it's Oscar, and it's likely he'll weigh in at 150 so for that fight. But I agree that Floyd shouldn't be at 154 after this, and I also agree that 147 is too much for him because he has lost any semblance of punching power. He needs to be at 140, and though I think it will never happen, he needs to fight Hatton at 140 for the undisputed jr welter crown.

edit: Another acceptable 154 lb. fight for Floyd is Winky, but Winky will probably ask for that fight to be at 157 since he's a full blown middle now. People will rip Winky for it, but it's just not feasible to ask a by-then 36 yr old to drop back down all the way to 154.

Hatton was probably trying to ask Floyd for some money. He must be in some sort of financial trouble if he's asking for $13 million for the fight. Or perhaps thats his way of ducking the fight. Two guys who are considered among the best in the world should fight. Too bad Hatton is content fighting guys nobody has heard of.

On the original topic. Floyd should've topped out at 147. He is trying to defy the odds by going to 154. and if he goes to 160, he should be instituted for insanity.
