    Yup, all of the above; it is to be purely subjective in nature. Each individual judge gets to voice their own opinion as to truthfully how bad an asswhoopin' someone is taking.

    Hell, I suppose I could sit down and write out specific criteria regarding flash-knock-downs and shaky legg rounds with no KD; but yeah. It's relies on what each judge sees with the scoring reflecting how big of a gap there was in compettion in each round.

      Interesting chat, I missed some of this. I must admit, I did feel bad for Collazo when he was bashing Hatton up in round 12 but got a point less than Hatton did for a flash KD in the first.

      So Mr. David.... you look like Paula Abdul?

        At the ABC Referee/judge seminar they discouraged against scoring rounds even. There are different aspects that you can look at in the round to determine who came out on top in a close round.

          So many times in a SUPER FIGHT the first round is nothing more then a stairing contest and to give that first round which in this case is intended to be a feeling out process is questionable in my judgement.
