Froch is untested at world level though. I never thought I'd get to say this about Kessler but he's actually more proven.

Froch has the talent to win though, absolutely no question. It'd be a "pick em" fight in my eyes.

      That's the spirit!

Wanna see as many british posters as possible get behind Froch (noone else will) before he's exposed. Makes it so much more fun.

Used to be very much against Kessler or any top name fighting Froch, as i viewed it to be a complete waste of time.
Now i have very mixed feelings. Still think it would really be a completely worthless gesture to beat him. But with the hype building and all his narcicistic crap, i'd really love to see him beaten to a pulp.
If it takes a fight out of Kessler's, Bute's Calzaghe's Mundine's or whoever's career to do so, I'm beginning to think it's worth it.

            Exactly. The more the better.
I want you and every brit in every boxing forum to talk Froch into something far bigger and better than Calzaghe will ever be.

Sure while it lasts i'll be annoyed and argue against. But at the end of the day it'll all be worthwhile.

By all means bring it on. Let's see who gets exposed - Kessler or Froch.
Sure Kessler will catch some flak for fighting a no-good british hype-job. But it'll be worth it.

i would like to see calzaghe-kessler, but as a previous poster has said...why doesn't kessler pull joe's card by making himself more saleable to an american audience. he's already done the groundwork in that he's not unknown.

if he took a couple of fights in the states, got on a hbo show, he'd be in a better position to get joe in the ring. true that joe hasn't had to do this, but joe got lucky when lacy agreed to come to england. unless kessler gets the same kind of luck (unlikely) he's gonna have to do it the hard way and fight in the states.

Let me say this Calzaghe in my opinion is takin a step-back by fighting Manfredo and needs to take a page from the JT saga and fight the best available opponents, **** i think it would have been a little more fulfilling if he fought Allan Green or the winner of Green V Manfredo! **** if he cant get Hopkins or Taylor why not go for the guy that a lot of people are sayin is the heir apparent to the belt you so galently call your own an go after Kessler

Yup. Kessler is a danish hype job who got lucky and just happened to come across a couple of belts and thereby in two years achieve as much as Calzaghe has done in his entire career.
But let's forget about Calzaghe for a bit. After all Froch is the REAL BRITISH SMW king. Future P4P no. 1 no doubt. A man so skilled he doesn't need defence. A man so skilled he'd beat Calzaghe and ehhh... a clone of Calzaghe simultanously with one hand tied behind his back. A man who is both noble and modest. A true warrior and a source of pride for all of Britain.
It's evident for all to see.
God save Carl and the Queen, rule Froch and Britannia and cherio old chaps!

Like I said in the other thread on this, I detected some bitterness towards Warren/Calzaghe from Dibella. Calzaghe is wrapped up until April now, and knowing his fragile hands, who knows? I think Dibella and Taylor were planning on moving up until Joe signed to fight Manfredo and then pushed it back even. Notice Dibella was trying to trump that move by talking up Mora for Taylor. Definitely some bitterness there.

HBO wants the fight, that's obvious. But bringing Warren and Joe over to the states is going to be a chore. I see Warren and Dibella as personalities that could hold up this fight. That and of course the possibility of another broken hand from Joe.
