the way to beat tito is using ur jab and lateral movement. taylor's jab sux and he doesnt really move anywhere except backwards and forwards (sometimes). and even when fighting a man about half his size in ouma, all ouma had to do to put taylor in a defensive position is to apply pressure. taylor cant take pressure. and tito can bring it.

    tito by KO.

Tito has faster hands and better technique. Taylor over commits and telegraphs his punches a lot, Tito could take advantage of that. Having said that, I doubt Trinidad at this point would take this fight, especially when it wouldn't generate the kind of $$$ to get him outta retirement. But, it would be interesting...

that he did. due to winky's invincible defense and piston-like jab, tito was helpless.

but if tito mounted some offense in a fight with taylor, JT would just turtle up against the ropes.

No offence but saying Jermain Taylor's jab is way out of line, Jermain's jab is one of the best right now in boxing.

he stiffens his arm, and lunges his shoulder out in a crude and amature attempt at throwing an actual jab, all while he leaves his head WIDE open for a counter.

his jab and his power, and just most of jermain is very very overrated.

How come Hopkins and Winky could'nt counter him? I mean they did but in the first 6 rounds of all three fights Taylor was ahead, dont forget Jermain is a counterpuncher too and a good one.

hopkins waited too long to really try to win and winky felt too secure about his lead and he slacked off.

just because some1 is a good counterpuncher doesnt mean hes impervious to counters.

Taylors jab is the best ive seen for a while, remember he dropped some of his opponent with his jab alone, he is a strong middleweight with a good jab, The jab is probably Jermains best punch...Watch the first hopkins fight and for the first six rounds see how he uses that left jab ask anyone about taylors jab and they will tell you its a killer jab pumped like a piston all night, confusing and frustrating his opponents

winky's jab is great, floyd's jab is great, quartey's jab is/was great, i will reluctantly agree that calzaghe has a good jab, too. but taylor's jab only works cuz of his size, not his skill or technique.
