weak ass no footwork ouma had taylor tired and running

trinidad hits way harder and is a much better finisher
    than taylor.

you telling me even today that if ouma was getting hit by trinidad punches
he would have still been standing there.

i think trinidad would beat taylor late in the fight
    when taylor starts getting tired

With that being said, his physical attributes are as good as any Middleweight in the history of the game. His attributes are probally the best since RJ & Toney. By that Im speaking of his combination of speed & power. It just doesnt come much better then his but if you dont know how to master it then you wont ever reach your full potential.

He still doesnt know the art of boxing and he still fights dumb at times. However, with his physical attributes he can hang with anyone in the game as you saw in the Winky fight. Now watching the fight tonight, I started thinking about a great matchup half way through it. I said to myself that Taylor is great physically but skill wise can he dominate any elite fighter his size? There talking about him fight Calzaghe which I think would be a great fight and he would do alot better in that fight then some of you are giving him credit for. My problem is that Taylor has great size but is he a Super Middleweight? I mean he still only comes into the ring at like a 166 pounds so I dont think he should move up yet. He could fight Winky which would be great but there's one fight I now want to see more and thats against Tito!

I dont know if Tito is serious about fighting but he did say that he would think hard about a Oscar fight. I think Tito realizes he is past his prime and there are certain guys he cant fight anymore. I guy with alot of skill & technique would give Tito hell at this stage but Taylor doesnt have that. I think Tito could be very interested in fighting the #1 Middleweight in the game and I think he probally feels that he can legitimatly beat him even at this stage of his career. I think Tito is intrigued because its a chance to knock off a top guy, its a huge money fight, and Taylor wont run or be a great boxer. He will want to fight with Tito and Tito would love that, knowing that Taylor cant really outbox him. He probally thinks Taylor will be there for him to hit and that he could really hurt Taylor, as long as he can hold up to Taylor's punches.

To me, I think this would be a super fight and a high action fight and I wouldnt be shocked if Tito came out of this with a huge win. That would really cement Tito's suddenly tarnished legacy. Who do you guys think wins, how, and why?
great thread dlt. i'll add that taylor still fights anxious and i'm coming to the conclusion he's sort of slow in the head. hoped he could out grow these things from expierience. maybe he's a slow learner.

i see calzaghe making taylor look bad.i bet manny knows that.
taylors built like a racehorse on steroids.i'd think he'd do good staying at 160 and making good money next couple fights.

man, tito would get hurt by taylor. i don't think tito brings up enough power to faze taylor. i see taylor having fun walking thru tito.more so than ouma.tito better go dlh route to make money.

I said it before Tito is not a real middleweight. He never got to beat a true large natural heavyweight. Tito is one of the All time great Welter Weights but he doesn't have the strenght to fight middleweights.

        Taylor would win.

People say things like that but is there any certified truth behind it? Obviously Tito doesnt look like a Super Strong Middleweight but its not like he lost to average guys or just solid guys. He got killed by 2 maybe All Time Great Fighters. I dont think losing to them means that your definatly not a true middleweight but who knows

i agree tito would have a good chance against taylor like you mentioned the guys tito lost to were great boxer with very good defense ....taylor like you mentioned does not have a very good defense or movement ....also taylor does not have the best stamina and he likes to trade so tito could catch him with some good power shots thru out the fight ..i would pick tito by stopage late in the fight ......but tito would have to have a new trainer and a 1-2 tune up fights before fighting taylor.
