Great idea bu this was done in a book called Sahdow Box, by George Plimton, he took on Archie Moore in a three round exhibition that was sold to the rafters.

You would need major press coverage and it could be a big deal.

I spoke with a manager and he gave me all the info I needed. I'm going to call the NY Commissioner tommorrow and set this thing up. When I get that done, I'll announce the fighter I am going to face.

I'm looking to set up an exhibition fight with me in the main event against a popular NYC champ, with all proceeds going to a children's charity. We'd also take donations at the event. The selling point is that one of the p4p best fighters in New York would take on a boxing writer, breaking down the barrier between fighters and writers and it'd be an explosive match. For a 20 dollar donation, would you want to see this kind of action?

Send HBO an email. Maybe they will put it on BAD, and that might increase revenue as well as your profile.
