Is this a joke?

Margarito's wrist doesnt make up for the fact that he cant get out of the way of punches, he throws extremely slow haymakers, his defense is awful, he cant cut off the ring effectively and failed to effectively land on the guy throughout the entire fight. If Margarito had a wrist injury, that doesnt really mean anything because margarito fights like this EVERY FIGHT. Whereas Clottey was winning by a landslide until he VISIBLY could not throw his left hand with any effectiveness after round 4.


It does not "even things out" broken wrist or not, Margarito fought exactly how he fights every fight, amatuerish punching followed by just trying to impose his size on guys that are smaller than he is. Margarito was going to lose this fight and its unfortunate the guy had to suffer an injury like this. I dont know why your trying to spin this fight like you are, Margarito won by default because the other guy was visibly in pain and couldnt throw.

Exactly Black Jesus. Margarito won this fight not by what he was doing, but from what Clottey wasn't able to do after the 4th.

ive seen him fight a bunch of times, the only thing thats ever impressed me is the Cintron win, and mostly because i found it funny watching Cintron crumble and cry like that. When people try to sell to me that hes an elite that belongs in the same class as floyd/winky top p4p fighters is when i have to point out all of his flaws in comparison with the best

This is your problem. You let people who say outlandish things affect, thus causing you to say ****** things. Take a step back. Why should you even respond to anyone who thinks Tony is top ten p4p anyway? Most people are not saying this.

Your asking why i didint **** on him a few fights ago because i didint give a ****. Back then he wasnt being sold to me as "the most feared welter on the planet". Now that he is, i have no choice but to point out all the flaws ive been seeing since i first saw him in the daniel santos fight on HBO. Of course hes not going to box the **** out of floyd, he doesnt have the ring intelligence nor the skill to do so, but after seeing the clottey fight, its been solidified that even the size/power/punch output advantage wouldnt work. Clottey was on his way to pitching a near shutout before the hand injuries, Margarito was simply not effective against a good defense and while he landed some decent body shots, it only happened after the other guy could no longer throw.

Its obvious clottey had a gameplan and was excecuting it well until the injury.

Clottey is a decent fighter, and marg has trouble against decent fighters, so how do you expect me to rate him against the sports elite with these types of struggles?

Where am I asking you to rate him? I never said he could beat floyd.I like Margarito because hes an action fighter,not because I have illusions of him havin p4p skill.I know exactly why I like margarito and I know that he can be very potentialy flawed fighter against someone whos able to capitalize on those flaws.

Its not like that **** was ever a secret,people coming out of the woodwork yelling"exposed" is ridiculous,you can only think of him "exposed" if yesterday was the first time you saw margarito fight,because for everybody else,hes always had flaws.
