Margarito is not good... I can't believe people actually thought (think) he can hang with Pretty Boy... Clottey manhandled him the first few rounds...

Thanks for the video amigo; I won't get to watch the whole fight until maybe later in the week. Did Clottey throw any punches in this fight? I'm hoping you just edited those parts out.

I wanted to see what he would say. I really haven't seen the fight yet, and ferocity's video only shows a bunch of (partially successful) flurries by Margarito.

Clottey had the right idea but in the later rounds he just did not throw enough leather.

Margarito's handspeed is pedestrian, but he makes up for it with power and output. The man just never seems to stop throwing for very long. Against a fighter like that it is hard to get set.

P.S. People talk about Cotto's body attack but Margarito's is pretty damn good as well. It will be interesting to see how Cotto himself handles it.

Yawn. Gatti keeps throwing with an entire broken hand. Margarito's wrist was injured. That makes it even anyway. Surely you are aware of this?

                  Is this a joke?

Margarito's wrist doesnt make up for the fact that he cant get out of the way of punches, he throws extremely slow haymakers, his defense is awful, he cant cut off the ring effectively and failed to effectively land on the guy throughout the entire fight. If Margarito had a wrist injury, that doesnt really mean anything because margarito fights like this EVERY FIGHT. Whereas Clottey was winning by a landslide until he VISIBLY could not throw his left hand with any effectiveness after round 4.

It does not "even things out" broken wrist or not, Margarito fought exactly how he fights every fight, amatuerish punching followed by just trying to impose his size on guys that are smaller than he is. Margarito was going to lose this fight and its unfortunate the guy had to suffer an injury like this. I dont know why your trying to spin this fight like you are, Margarito won by default because the other guy was visibly in pain and couldnt throw.

This is very simple. We are not discussing Margarito's 'skills' or lack thereof. We are discussing injuries. You are citing Clottey's injury as if it somehow means more than Margarito's. Tony was hurt as well and kept throwing. Clottey did not, for whatever reason.

If you want to use the injury as an excuse, it still has to be said that one man overcame injury while the other did not.

It seems obvious that more power would have come from Tony if his wrist ha dnot been injured. This could also have affected the fight. But since your bias against Tony is clouding your mind so, you have decided to only think of the advantages that Clottey lost by hurting his knuckle.
