Clottey never wanted out. He kept talking **** about his hands but never said "I can't fight no more" He even said once the fight finished "I didn't want to quit cause im a warrior"

clottey lost this fight more than margarito won it.

the damage to josh's hand early in the fight sealed his fate, I just don't agree that Margarito was too much, if anything he was too little, and given this opportunity to showcase his talent on Showtime, the guy who stepped up was Cotto, Margarito looked nothing like the best WW fighter he's claimed to be repeatedly.

Margarito don't need you as his fan, no need to act like you care about the guy, just keep bashing him as you are.
what you should be asking is should you get professional help or what.

Why didn't Mosley, Mayweather and Wright accept a fight with Margarito? Simple. They've all proven themselves at one point or another. Mosley has been proven for years, as has Mayweather and Wright. Margarito hasn't really proven **** other than the fact that he's good at using his size to his advantage.

What would a W over someone like Margarito do for Mosley's record? Nothing and you know it. What about Mayweather? Nothing, and you know it, hell Mayweather beat Castillo who could easily beat Margarito if you as me. What about Wright? Nothing, Wright beat Mosley twice, Trinidad and was robbed against Vargas.

Face it, a win over Margarito right now, for a well-known fighter like the ones you mentioned accomplishes nothing.
You're definately a hater. Here is why: Mosley's last two wins at ww were against the awfully slow Jose Luis Cruz and David Estrada (both by narrow majority decisions). What did these two fighters do for Mosley's career?
How about Mayweather, he faced Victoriano Sosa, Philip N'dou, Demarcus Corley in a row at one poing. What did these fights do for him? Then he fought Sharmba, enough said!

          So why the hate?

So you think Paul Williams has made enough noise after his two tko wins against Sharmba, and what was that midget's name he last fought, oh yeah Pakau, a guy who is 5' 2 and should be fighting at 108. Shrmba was coming of a tko loss and so was Pakau. The only good win on Paul's record is Walter Matthysse.

What other welterweights are out there, we have Cintron of course, he's made a little noise as of late but not before he **** his **** himself to a tko loss against Tony.

We have Cotto, a lot of noise at Welter, but only one fight, is that enough noise for you?

All I have to say is Margarito was very lucky in that fight Clottey hurt both of his hands. He broke his left knuckle on his index finger. That explains why he was able to use it but not being able to have snap on his punches. He was pawing with it or slapping with his lefts after that. Then in the 7th he hurt the right hand & wasn't able to use it effectively. I believe it because how is he after clearing outboxing Marg for the first 4 rounds is going to ABRUPTLY stop throwing punches after he just his best round is unheard of. I think he was on his way to winning a UD or possibly a TKO stoppage. The guy is a warrior & was able to finish the fight & still make it close despite hurting both hands.

UD probably. TKO stoppage, highly doubtful.

The hand injury excuse is a joke. Clottey kept throwing his left hand throughout the entire fight much more than his right. He never once grimaced when he landed his left hand. Look at the Chavez vs Morales fight and the Arthuro Gatti vs Micky Ward 2 fight. Both Chavez and Gatti hurt their right hand I believe and completely abondoned it. Mayweather's only knockdown in his career came when he hurt his hand, tried to punch with it and when he hit the other guy he was in so much pain he had to take a knee. Thanks for reading.

He was slapping with it; using an open glove. His hand wasn't broken but the knuckle on his index finger was. If you watch the fight & compare the first 4 rounds to how he was using it after you'd see the difference if you look at objectively & not as a Margarito fan. Why would he just stop punching all together for a round and a half after having a good 4th round. He wasn't gassed or breathing heavy. It's plain obvious that he hurt his hand.

I am looking at it objectively, whe you break your hand you usually break a knuckle, I 've broken my right twice on the pinky knuckle and it hurt like a ***** I couldn;t imagine throwing it. Look at other fighters that have broken their knucke, they stopped throwing it altogether. Clottey lost power from his right hand too.

Oh yeah, look at the end of the fight when they took the glove off, and were cutting his wrap-ups. Not a single grimace.

I am a Clottey fan too you know, I've seen like 5 or 6 fights of his but in his last fight he was out of character. He held something I haven't seen him do before, he complained about every punch he got hit with on the belt line, and he ran ala "smoke' Gainer in the 10th round. And this wasn't due to a hand injury cause we already know there wasn't one. I doubt it even went as far as X-raying it.
