Who has Clottey beat to make this win meaningful? Did a struggle against unknown Richard Gutierrez all of a sudden make Clottey a top dog at 147? Clottey is just another unproven fighter among many that Margarito continues to face. Kyvelos, Lujan, Cintron, Gomez, and now Clottey. All of these guys have no significant wins in their careers but Margarito fans expect everyone to give Tony credit as if these wins actually meant something. Get outta here with that ****...

If Margarito sucks, don't know why Clottey couldn't beat him, they both had injuries. Margarito will keep winning that i gurantee.
I'm glad you're not running boxing cuz we'd have champions beating up on scrubs instead of fighting other proven champions and guys that deserve title shots. Sort of like how you praise your boy for fighting Clottey instead of the guy who earned his way to the #1 ranking for the title (Williams). And then you have the nerve to bash Floyd Mayweather for fighting the best champions in each division (Baldomir and DLH) instead of a no-name paper champion like Margarito. You are a clown and so is your boy. And Clottey exposed that of both of you.

Margarito is already going to fight Williams next. He ain't Mayweather who is looking for the bigger payday but easier fight.

OK, you don't think Margarito deserves a title shot. Then you give me names of fighters that deserve title shots. I'll be waiting.

If Mayweather wanted an easier fight he'd take Margarito, seriously. What you just said is that De La Hoya is an easier fight than Margarito, which means you think Margarito is better than De La Hoya, which means you're a ****ing moron. Margarito didn't do a good job at cutting off the ring against Clottey, was outclassed by Clottey's boxing skills in the first 4 rounds, and still couldn't close the fight in any kind of dominating fashion. Your boy would look like a ****ing fool in the ring against Mayweather.

It'd be a carbon copy of the Baldomir fight.

Margarito is being forced to fight Williams because he already avoided him for as long as possible to fight a guy that most rank somewhere between #10-12 at 147.

Baldomir deserves to fight for another title just as much as Margarito, Collazo should still have his title and DEFINITELY deserves a shot over Margarito, Mosley is coming back to 147 and will have a belt as soon as someone gives him a shot. Judah doesn't deserve a shot yet, but would beat Margarito. IMO, Margarito is somewhere around the 6th best WW. And if Hatton is included it bumps him more.

So even with your hatred you still have Margarito at #6, just goes to show that no matter how much hate you have fore the guy you still rank him in the top ten. But someone reading your post you would have them belive Margarito is outside of the top 20. Tell, all these guys you just mentioned to sign the contract to face Margarito.

"Margarito couldn't finish a 1 handed man" blah. That same "1 handed" man runs 10 miles a day and might be in the best physical condition of any fighter in boxing perhaps. If Margarito was fighting a club fighter who has a penchant for hookers and hard liquor....I'd say that would be pretty unsettling.

As it stands he won a tough fight against an as game as you can get opponent.
In order to discredit someone, you have to give them credit in the first place.
                Clottey isnt that good.
                He has never impressed me.
                Tony struggled with him.

You can say that cause you ain't the one in the same ring with Clottey. Yes, Clottey wanted to quit no doubt about that, but its a fact that he keep on and fought back, Margarito was just too much.
