A tuneup? My god are you ******. Mayweather has one of the biggest fights in the past 20 years coming up in May and you still can't get over your "he must be scared" fixation. Margarito had no name before he started talking about Mayweather and now that he looked like **** against another C-fighter, he'll never get a big fight. Stop talking about Mayweather cuz he's fighting legends. Start talking about guys who Margarito has a shot against. Tonight all his weaknesses were exposed and his strengths all of the sudden aren't so strong. Too much hype to struggle with Clottey.Comment

I can tell all of you besides aliberg and hendrix, had never seen a Margarito fight before, one of you is talking **** and hasn't even seen the fight.
Imo, Margarito looked good. He had a tough opponet and still broke him down. Next time i would like all the haters to turn off the sound on there television sets, cause you guys get influenced by the commentaters views.
In the 6 round the commentaters went on how Clottey was a one handed fighter, how his left hand was broken -bull****- yet in this same round Clottey uses the left hook consitantly.
With the comments Margarito is getting its very clear many of you have not seen Margarito fight before this. And your expections were through the moon and for you they weren't meet so the bashing beginigs, welcome to boxing.
And Clottey was asking, and asking, for his trainer to stop the fight cause of his hand, but keep in mind he was using his left hand round after round. If Clotteys corner cared for Clotteys wishs, they would have stopped the fight. Just look at Quintanna he quit, instead of having a good corner who stops the fight the fighter himself had to bail himself out of a fight by quiting which is what Clottey was looking for. Good thing for Clottey he always had his defence on caue he was taking a beating by Margarito.
Also no haters like to bring in the fact that Margarito hurt his wrist, but he ain't going to be a dumb ass and say he broke it, like Clottey said. Margarito never mentioned about his hurt wrist and keep fighting on, Clottey was complaining about his wrist to his corner in hopes they stop the fight so he doesn't keep taking a beating. I hope after some fighters read the comments here they'll have enough confidence to step up and fight Margarito.
And as for Cotto fighting Margarito. You guys are hyping Cotto up, but thats how it go's. Cotto has so many vulnerablities that Margarito will take advantage of them all. If and when Cotto faces Margarito, Margarito will ko Cotto or his corner will save Cotto from anymore damage.
The NY crowd sure didn't think Clottey was robbed, they actually cheered for Margarito. And the stadium was full of Cotto supporters.
So before some of you haters talk **** take a look at his past fights and notice how Margarito is a slow starter and ends up dominating his opponet. All this hate from a good performance by Margarito just makes you haters look ignorant.
