We Floyd is no Quintana to begin with.

and for people who says Floyd's punchs wont hurt, I think it would hurt, e****ally counter punching is really underrated in terms of damage it makes. Punchs that you dont see coming hurts you and stunt you.

But could Floyd KO Cotto? I doubt that, He could hurt him but not to extend in having a KO

I'm actually not sure on this1 , neither am I sure on the hatton/floyd 1.
if floyd beats hatton, it will change my opinion slightly.

what are your thoughts on this potential fight?
where does everybody get this idea that cotto is slow?
did you not see how fast and sharp his punches were in the mosley fight

he really showed me his speed in that fight and it seemed as tho cotto really did surprise mosley with that speed in the fight too.

i too am having trouble where this notion came from that miguel cotto is slow. yes floyd mayweather can move at one and a half times the speed of cotto probably but that is because he's supernatural. cotto was able to keep up with zab and mosley and we saw what he did to them. the only way that floyd would pull off a win against cotto would be with an early knock out. miguel could weather the mayweather storm after the sixth being that floyd would be all danced out. not saying anything about his stamina but he wouldnt be able to evade as effectively. this is far from a mismatch and i say cotto could win this by decisions or ko just my two cents.

Cotto will win against Mayweather, he's too relentless and will hit Mayweather in ways that he's never felt, Cotto has shown the ability to Box VERY well, he outboxed Shane Mosley(still feels kinda weird when I say it), he outbrawled him and outboxed him, Shane is faster than Floyd, stronger than Floyd, bigger than Floyd and just basically has everything Floyd has and more except for skills which is why I give Floyd a good chance here but Cotto knows how to adjust, once Floyd hits them ropes it's a wrap, Cotto is going to force a fight out of Floyd because when Floyd tries that pop shot **** Cotto is going to counter every punch with something to negate Floyd's shot, something just tells me Cotto will walk Floyd down, Floyd being the percentage fighter he is will get evened out at 100% each and it will boil down to who can take more, Cotto will win that battle, we might just see Floyd go down again and not due to a hurt hand but a hurt chin.. only something devastating can overcome Floyd's slickness, to stop him in his tracks you gotta beat the **** out of him, hasn't happened yet but with a guy like Cotto who knows how to cut the ring off so well and is so precise with his punches I don't think Floyd will be able to slip and slide.. 100

Cotto have two phyical condition that is against him.

1- he starts slow in the fight
2- he loses alot of stamina at the end of the fight.

my guess is with Mayweather stamina he would dominate Cotto in the first and last rounds while Cotto steals 2-3 middle rounds

I feel u thats why I said Shane had everything more than Floyd accept skills which is why I give him a good shot but Floyd's fast hands wont help him against Cotto, he would have to bring 100% to the table cuz Cotto definitely will.. Floyd's defensive style will be FORCED into an offensive style, he will have to give Cotto a reason to back up like Shane did and I don't think Floyd can do that, Miguel is too good of a counter puncher and takes too good of a shot, I think that when you factor in Miguel's effective aggressiveness and ring generalship(cutting off ring and side to side movement when hurt) he will find Floyd's chin and hit him worse than anyone else ever has because it wont be just 1 punch, people underestimate Miguel's speed and skills but once he sees Floyd can't hurt him he's going to attack, Floyd is going to have to fight in this one and I just don't see him winning this fight.. 100
