Did you watch the Hatton-Callozo fight? Hatton can't live at 147, he has no power.

Miguel ****ing Cotto. Wow. All of you that said he would have problems with Quintana. He looked good the first two rounds, had some trouble in rounds 3 and 4 and adapted. Hes cool and calm in the ring and he even switched to southpaw. What a great fighter. I kept saying that Cotto would cut off the ring and go to the body. Something Julio didnt do at all.

But it looks like Williams will be taking that trinket from Margarito. So Cotto and Williams would not fight for a while, belts don't get unified quickly.

Hatton will not come up to 147, and Cotto won't go back to 140. Floyd is retiring.

I don't know who he would fight next??

Did you not see how Margarito looked today? Scoring was horrible. Clottey deserves another shot at a belt. Even with a broken left hand he was still fighting. What surprised me was Margaritos Output.. How many punches did he throw! He would get countered all day by Floyd.

Hatton is hyped. If he fights Cotto at 147 he is done. Hatton couldn't hang with Collazo who wasn't a puncher and got schooled by him. Imagine Cotto? Could box also and has power and speed, and from today Cotto by far looked WAY better than Hatton from when he fought at 147.

            collazo was hatton's 5th choice at 147

hatton didn't want to take it because he had no time to get used to the weight, plus collazo was a southpaw ( who would give most welterweights problems ) but hatton did take it and this shows balls on hattons part

give hatton longer to trai and prepare for 147 and he would look twice as good

and oh yeah .... hatton outlanded collazo

that's right, outlanded one of the fastest welterweights , at the weight he is supposed to be **** at

Margarito looked impressive in some ways and unimpressive in others. I was impressed with the body work and his punch output, but he throws looping punches and he could get countered all day.

Wasn't that when Collazo tripped over Hatton's foot? He was going backwards or something...can't remember exactly. But, if he had so much power why was it that Hatton was the one on ***** street at the end of the fight?? Hatton has no business above 140 against elite fighters.

I was just saying. People were knocking Quintanna a little bit, maybe he would get more credit for Margarito. (Who did marg fight for the belt originally? I heard that guy was actuaally a very hard puncher, I can't remember who, but marg knocked him out. Granted marg hasn't looked spectacular lately)

It would be interesting fight too, cause Marg has no defense, cotto doesn't use much defense either. Would be a punching war, with margarito goin down from body punch.

I doubt Hatton goes back to 147. He might as well stay at his best weight.

It's ok to be a big fan. But don't be a fanboy.

Analyze facts. You cannot tell me Hatton was not rocked in the 12th. Callozo almost dropped him, he hurt hatton for sure. (Who had the big welt under his eye after the fight)

And the knockdown happened like this.

Hatton had his arm on Callozos head, he lifted his arm off him and collazo while popping back up got hit with a punch and went down. It was a legitimate knockdown, but it was cause of collazo being off balance.

Be objective. If calozo hurt hatton, what do you think cotto would do to him?
