If he beats margarito I would give him props.

But it looks like Williams will be taking that trinket from Margarito. So Cotto and Williams would not fight for a while, belts don't get unified quickly.

Hatton will not come up to 147, and Cotto won't go back to 140. Floyd is retiring.

I don't know who he would fight next??

No I don't think he does either.

I don't see Hatton being able to stand up to the left hook on the inside. He's vulnerable, especially when coming in. How is he going to stand up to crisp shots over and over when he's a sitting target?

First off, Hatton's defense is already suspect. How is he going to avoid shots when Cotto cuts off the ring better than anyone in boxing...and likes to throw combinations downstairs and upstairs. It would be ****ing nasty.

If anything Hatton would floor Cotto once or twice, but him being able to deal with the constant barriage of punches is another thing.

Hatton quitting that fight late rounds would be my pick. TKO.

Honestly the way Margarito stands in front of his opponent, he would definately get hit way more than quintanna. Now I know people are gonna say that Margarito can take a hit and I'd have to agree with you, but how many of those shots can Margarito honestly take. I'd love to see them two slip on the gloves and end the debate in the ring.

            Hatton won't move to 147.

And cotto won't go down to 140. So that fight doesn't happen. Cotto already said he has too much trouble making the weight.

                Both fighters were showcased tonight....
With Margarito not living up to the hype
And Cotto destroying a respected opponent.
There is no debate. Cotto destroys Margarito.

Hatton has NO pop @ 147. See Collazo fight. I'd actually like to see Cotto fight Collazo but that won't happen. Ricky has his hands full with a beast in Urango. Urango may not be the most skilled fighter, but he punches hard, keeps his gloves up, and will give Ricky fits especially since he's a southpaw with power. Don't be surprised to see an upset since Urango IS the belt holder and the fight is in the states.

Is that why he dropped Collazo in the first round with a left hook?
