Simple answer Kessler needs to get himself stateside if he wan't the exposure and the credos of the wider boxing world.... its tough but its a fact.

I don't know a great deal about Kessler's ambitions he may choose to take the path of another European...... Sven 'I'll duck anything' Ottke. I hope he does have wider ambitions.

Great, like I said I wasn't saying Kessler doesn't - I just didn't know what his ambitions are.

Funny how Calzaghe's spent a decade and his whole career thoroughly blasting out no hopers at 168, and now all of a sudden his priorities have changed so vastly and quickly that he has no time left for an undefeated 4 title unification fight at 168. A fight that would be historic at Supper Middle and set the division apart in all of boxing with a complete unified champion.

Poor Kessler, missed it by that much.

It's a path to Taylor. Kessler isn't. It's hardly rocket science is it.

Joe needs to get real. Hops wants Maskaev and is weighing 190 right now. But Taylor and Manfredo are doable.

However, Kessler is the best at 168 outside of Joe and has proven it by beating Lucas, Mundine, etc. Mundine is a 'particularly' good fighter and anyone can see that by watching his fights.

I can tell. The way he maxamized his potential paydays over the course of his career to date is really telling of that.

Kessler is going to be a force to reckon with. Is he from the former West German side? Seems like a lot of ex-communist places are producing the most prospects above 160 lbs.
