    Kessler fans

"I understand and sympathise with your frustration that Mikkel Kessler will not be given the opportunity to box a true champion but Kessler has little to offer in contrast to the American greats.

Kessler hasn’t boxed anyone of particularly good stature, is practically unknown in the United States of America and has a small following of fans.

It is Joe Calzaghe’s objective to win over his American audience and defeat globally recognised boxers like Manfredo, Taylor and Hopkins. Once Joe Calzaghe has achieved these objectives he will then consider taking Kessler’s supermiddle weight titles. With a monolithic following of Americans and Britons the Calzaghe v Kessler fight would then gain an audience of monumental proportions but until then Kessler will have to wait".

True! The only reason he's fighting manfredo is because people actually know who he is due to the contender and people are interested in him! Other than true boxing fans Kessler is nobody and has beaten nobody! I wouldn't matter who joe fought anyway he'd still get bashed on here coz he's not american. Would like to see kessler fight froch though 2 very hard hitters it might not last long! I'd give froch a chance in that one though! British fighters could rule that division that'd piss u americans off! Jeff who?? lol

Wasn't Roy Jones Jr. slated to fight Manfredo Jr. at one point? Joe Blow's just following the RJJ tradition. Y'all must've forgot!

Not even the Danes could argue with that and really should be happy that at least he's on his timetable. Joe has plenty of Euro scalps on his belt already anyway.
