i already know exactly how it feels when your idol falls, i've been nuthugging since Rolando Navarette days, it really sucks for a little kid like me back then to see Navarette fall against Bazooka Limon. and i was pissed at that british boxer (forgot his name) who ran away from Dodie boy Penlosa all night who couldn't keep up because of his polio.

but do you understand that when you involve yourself in their nonsense, you hurt your own credibility as a writer or at least, how your viewed on here? Do you ever stop to think that because of this, some people are less inclined to find out about your views in your articles because your involve yourself so deeply in this nationalistic garbage that they instigate? Sure maybe in real life it means nothing, but on the internet, at the least people want to feel like a writer is objective and above involving himself in mudslinging tactics with others containing opposing views. You hurt yourself when you get into that kind of ****, ive read your articles and i think they are decent, but i cant help but wonder why you would go out of your way to fight with these people your SUPPOSED to be above?

But with the flux of threads talking about "the great mexican hope" and "why cant mexican legends beat pacman"

There will come a time when a fighter will be out of his prime. Often times the signs wont be there, while someone is winning, KOing people left and right, we all hardly ever see it coming. But sometime..and in my gut i feel like it will be soon, at some point pacman will come out just like Morales did,...tired, older (fight wise) and look like he wont be all there. Some hungry young fighter will do to pacman just as he had done to barrera and morales.

You should enjoy your gloating/laughing now while you can, because as a die hard Tyson/Roy Jones fan, i will tell you right now, its one of the worst feelings in the world when it happens because you want to bieleve so bad it will never happen and your guy is the best, and with a guy like pac, a defeat in brutal fashion doesnt just damage him, but an entire country, and you had better be ready for the backlash on all your favorite internet stops when it happens. Because it happens to everyone, and you had better hope you have another boxing prospect to look at, because all this poking fun at mexicans is funny and all, but you better remember the playing field is tilted again once pacman retires, or he meets his match.

With pacs style, i just only see him going for so long until it all comes crashing down.
I couldnt of said it better! but like I said before, It's cool that they celebrate but just dont go to far. Its like a cycle boxing gos trew with these superstars, they rule a division or some for a while then another young lion comes along. Trust me fellas! sooner or later you will get your hearth broken ATLEAST once! thats just part of the game.

I typically like to stay out of the bull****, but I have this tripwire in my head that I get off on annoying people. I also like it when they attack my work, because I'm galvanized by the ignorance of my detractors. Attracting the haters I do reassures me that I'm doing everything right.

But on the real, you can't see yourself as being above anybody. But what, besides the gawdy signature and the screen name and my posts would make you think I'm nationalistic? LOL Mabuhay Pinoy!

I do everything with a secret smile that I'm enjoying every moment of what I'm doing and what I'm about.

Yeah, I mean the racism **** has really gotten out of control. Coming from a family as ecclectic as mine, racial differences have never been a big deal. I actually find it endlessly fascinating at the type of person who has to resort to racism because it's pointless. We're all the same.

I always look at it like Filipinos are slanted-eyed Mexicans and we should all look at our similarities instead of dwelling on miniscule differences.

I remember back in 98 or 97 when De la hoya beat a 97-1 old chavez.that one really broke my hearth, a perfect example of an young lion beating an old lion, I hated oscar for a long time after that , I looked at it like Chavez had put in so much work and this new young punk just came and took his credit. but i learned to like oscar as a fighter he has proven himself.

Isn't this what we've been trying to do the whole time? You don't have to tell us. There will never be another Pacman......wouldn't wanna go back regretting that "I could have made the best of it by talking trash" ....LOL.
