I think what Winky speaks is the truth, for one Oscar is bigger, hits harder and is probably one of the smartest fighters of all time in terms of what he does in the ring while fighting. Second Floyd hasn,t really faced anyone who will cut the ring down as oscar will. I will take the odds and run to the bank with Oscar in this one.

The same if goes with if Oscar can beat him to the body because going upstairs ain't gonna work IMO. Floyd is too quick to get caught upstairs on the ropes you can try to do damage.

this is why winky will remain ranked under floyd until floyd retires. floyd will not be the underdog in this fight, by no means, but in a way, oscar probably won't either. all of that doesn't matter. floyd will beat oscar by a large margin. winky has his opinion as do i, but we'll both see may 5 of 2007 just how much being bigger and stronger won't play a major role in this fight. timing, defense, footwork, and adaptaion(the most important apsect) will be the major roles of the fight. floyd adapts not only to styles but to gameplans very effectively in fights, much better than oscar does imo, but that's not to say oscar won't when he fights mayweather. the key to oscar having a chance to defeat floyd would be to box unorthodox against him and confuse the hell out of him at nearly every moment in the fight. hell, he may confuse the crowd and the media and commentators but it may be his best shot against floyd.

floyd sr. won't be an advantage for oscar like many think. floyd jr. won't be fighting until may 5 of next year and i guarantee you, he will show up with a mind-blowing strategy that will prove vastly superior than oscar's, you can mark my word. oscar will feel pain throughout the fight. floyd isn't dumb, he knows oscar is going to use his left hool as much as he can and will time it to near perfection and even counter oscar as he throws it. oscar is the bigger man, but floyd will be in amazing shape as the fight comes near and man, oscar is in a world of trouble. floyd is stronger than many give him credit for. i believe he will not hurt his hands in the fight with oscar as well, but we'll see. floyd is going to kill oscar in that ring. he will still be fast as hell at 154 too trust me. his training will be amazing for this fight. floyd is no mayorga, and vica-versa and he will show oscar that on may 5. man, oscar is in for an embarrassing night when he meets floyd.

forget winky wright, he will be shattered by floyd mayweather.

Mayorga isn't the only guy Oscar has beaten. Floyd comes no where close when it comes to the level of oposition hes faught. And I rank Winky higher than Floyd.

oscar is a natural welterweight, floyd is a natural lightweight. both have very fast hands, but oscar hits much harder. pbf can still win this fight, though, because dlh has slowed down a lot in the last few years, floyd will have much better stamina, but he'll need it

You should be embarrassed for posting that. Obviously De La Hoya is a step up in class for Mayweather, and i believe 100% that De La Hoya will win this fight. Credit to both fighters for making this fight happen.
True, Mayweather is probably the best p4p in the fight game today and has beaten good fighters i.e. Castillo, Corley, Gatti, Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir... and although De La Hoya isn't very active i still think that that won't play a part in the outcome and he'll have what it takes on the night.

If you people think Floyd can hurt Oscar, or he's going to make Oscar look ******.

                    you're in for a suprise.

I understand bro. but I guess it's FM's arrogance and being big mouthed that is keeping these people away from him.Sometimes we need to practice some humility in order to build some kinda charisma.
