    Why Americans slag off calzaghe?

Evrytime i read a thread on here there are loads of americans slagging off joe. Who is this is it because he gave one of your golden boys jeff lacy a beating of a life time? You all say he ducks fights and alays fights at home well a) i don't think thats entirely one side the top americans never wanted to fight him coz they knew he might win and b) what about roy jone who is supposed to be a legend ducked everyone eubank, benn, colins and calzaghe that man never thought anybody with a hope of beating him for years even Ruiz had no hope the guys hopeless!

It's cos all Americans think the same - they all get behind their guys, knowing that really they all need to come to Europe to prove they can fight. Yank f.ags, LMAO, pwn!

Seriously though, we need to get away from this nationalty ****. Everyone of every nation has the capacity to talk ****.

That said, what do you expect - a nation that went to war to find weapons that didn't even exist. Of course they're going to think a guy who's best opponent was a shot Robin Reid is "the future of the Supermiddleweight division".

The Danes these days seem more intent on bashing Calzaghe than bigging up their man Kessler. And given their obsession with the tattooed one, that is quite something.

Joe doesn't help himself sometimes though. We all know he's been ducked by the really big names like Jones and Hopkins and fellow "champions" like Ottke but he could have forced the issue more by shaming them into a beating. Not his style though, which is fair enough. Fighting Manfredo might serve a purpose for HBO but it an utterly pointless affair otherwise.

Annie why do you do this to me?

I like Calzaghe, but I'll tell you he's a hard fighter to like. His punches look awkward, his style is unique and not obvioulsly in a good way. It takes some getting used to. Winky Wright is similar in that regard, but while watching a replay of Wright-Mosley I last week I decided he must be the best active fighter right now. It's just that you can't decide you like him/them immediately by watching.

Oh and it's hard to admit a Brit is better thsan an American. There is a history behind that. We are your sons.

Not really, it's just that no one cares enough to distinguish the difference.

Wrong, those who don't have an education beyond comprehensive level are the ones who don't care to distinguish the difference.
