So if he sat in a division and waited for all the paper champions to finally step up, that proves more than winning titles in 5 different weight classes? Right... You think going to 140 right now and beating all the current champions (Urango, M'Baye, Witter, and Torres) would do something for Floyd's legacy? Be serious...

I am sure PBF fought the best at 130 and 135, i think his problem was he did not fight the top guys at 140 (or at least the guy considered No.1) before jumping to 147 ... so many question left unanswered ...

but he is still No. 1 maybe up to the Oscar fight, among his recent opponents IMHO, I think GB has the best chance to upstage floyd ...

The Ring has a new poll of who is #1, PBF or Pacman?

If you compare there level of competition and the results Floyd doesn't even come close to Paq. Paquiao has taken on elite competition continuosly and continues to win impressively. You can't say the same for Floyd. Fighting Morales the first time when Morales won and was still fighting well is better than anyone Floyd has fought. Based on competition and the results he has produced and winning impressively I beleive that he should be ahead of him.
P4P is not who is the most skilled fighter, it is about level of competition and the results you produce against elite opposition. The level of competition doesn't even compare Paq definately has the better resume.

Mayweather's resume would be a lot better if Hatton, Mosley, and Cotto didn't duck him and if Judah had beaten Baldomir. Floyd has been trying to make fights with everyone that matters at 140 and 147 and no one would step up until now that DLH did...

We will have a better basis after this year. PBF is fighting DLH and Pac/MAB fight or a Pac/JMM fight should happen later. By then we can have a solid arguement.

So leave that ranking alone at it is for now.

ask the die-hard pbf fans LOL!

no and, if or buts about it, Manny Pacquiao is the pound for pound king.

                      no doubt.
