Does anyone know Toney's current financial situation? Cause IMO, he's taking fights lately for something other than the desire to win. Great skill, though.

Toney is set for life, it's just that he loves boxing and will probably not retire until someone KO's him.

Then that dude needs to trim the hell down and start taking fights seriously. He's good enough to have won his last 5 fights in stunning fashion, if he were fully in shape and prepared.

i totally disagree. he's a great boxer, but he isn't going to be knocking people out. maybe i misunderstood what you mean by stunning.

he also lost to peter by decision. that does not look good on anybody's record - peter is a horrible technical fighter. peter's one of the worst "boxer's" i've seen in a while.

He hasn't dominated the fighters whom he's been up against lately, which he should be doing. Of course i don't expect this guy to be knocking these HW's out.

ok, thanx for clearing that up. personally, i don't see him being able to dominate evrybody. i think he can beat most heavies though. i can see him outpointing valuev if he doesn't get knocked out first. he may be able to beat maskaev. that's a tough one to call right now for me. wladimir would dominate him. i think he would be able to land a few good bodyshots against wk, as klitschko doesn't really worry about getting hit to the body much. peter will always give him trouble. last fight, peter outpointed toney by scores of 116-111 on two cards. that is not a small deficit. believe it or not, i believe that sergei lyakhovich could give toney a lot of trouble if it's the same lyakhovich that showed up for the brewster fight. briggs, well, that's a tough one for me to imagine right now.

And it was one of the worst decisions I've seen in awhile.
