the only reason that james toney didn't eat canvass was because he was either bounced into the ropes or or illegally held onto them so he didn't fall. i've seen it at least twice in his fight with peter where he should've went down but hung onto the top rope. the ref should've caught that. i've seen fighters warned for it who did it much less than toney. he does it in a lot of fights.

nice clip of a rabbit punch. notice how peter pulls him down just before hitting him with one last rabbit punch. that shouldn't even count as a knockdown now that i am watching it again.

The bottom line is that Wlad was hurt worse and more frequently by Peter.

he also lost to peter by decision. that does not look good on anybody's record - peter is a horrible technical fighter. peter's one of the worst "boxer's" i've seen in a while.

Toney CLEARLY beat Peter. The fact you'd try to spin it otherwise only underlines how unobjective you are.

100% of the press at ringside had James winning. That was NOT a difficult fight to score.

You're as biased as they come, and were just the guy insiuating Toney was more hurt by Peter was than Wlad despite his 3 trips to the mat.

Two of the three trips were due to illegal rabit punches. That's a fact. Peter scored one legit knockdown vs. Wlad, later in the fight. I agree that Wlad was hurt more by Peter, but he was also caught by harder and more flush punches. I don't know if Toney got hit by one good Peter punch right on the jawline. A few to the temple, not none right on the chin or jawline from what I can remember. Peter threw a lot of punches against Toney that didn't have a lot on them but were intended to just simply connect. Against Wlad he was really trying to take him out with one punch.

Neither Toney nor Wlad were caught like Jeremy Williams was by that left hook. Neither have felt Peter's true power.

His money punches are clubbing top of the head shots, and that's what both Wlad and Peter were hit with.

oh please. yea,,,he had no legs yet miraculously was able to last the distance let alone rock peter and make him do the judah dance in the last round. he never looked seriously hurt and those knockdowns were fouls plain and simple. peter was out of shape and 10+ lbs heavier against toney and didnt land those fouls yet still managed to rock toney and had him holding the ropes to keep himself from going down. I know toney;s your hero and all but call it as it is and quit making a fool of yourself
