I loved the way he slipped and rolled and rope-a-doped in his fights between title fights, back in the day. Just casual, just maintaining ring sharpness.

If any person does not respect James Toney's boxing career then they are an idiot! He started at 157 and is making a fool out of guys that are 260 like Peter now, this is after 80 career fights and at the age of 38.

As for the Wlad/Peter fight, Peter never laneded a flush punch on Wlad, if you look at the fight Wlad was hurt with punches that barely connected, Peter landed some perfect flush punches on Toney that would've knocked out most of HW's that are fighting today.

the only reason that james toney didn't eat canvass was because he was either bounced into the ropes or or illegally held onto them so he didn't fall. i've seen it at least twice in his fight with peter where he should've went down but hung onto the top rope. the ref should've caught that. i've seen fighters warned for it who did it much less than toney. he does it in a lot of fights.

moron, the post said "the best super HWs today". neither rydell booker, guinn, nor ruiz fit either part of that description.

jeez, is ur head up ur ass THAT far?
          i think he was kidding.

The shots that had Wlad stepping in holes and falling all over the ring, Toney stood up to, recovered and threw back
nice clip of a rabbit punch. notice how peter pulls him down just before hitting him with one last rabbit punch. that shouldn't even count as a knockdown now that i am watching it again.

James Toney is the most impressive fighter I've seen in my lifetime. More so than RJJ or Mayweather. Those guys had/have skill athleticism but Toney has all of that in addition to a cast iron chin, determination, and probably the most complete skill set of any modern fighter. He is a fighter's fighter. All he lacks in the prize ring is conditioning as well as relative height, hitting power, and strength. All of those weaknesses came into existence only when he moved to heavyweight. He is in the wrong weight class, but he is still doing pretty damn well for himself.

Still as a human being and personality I am not impressed by that I see and would love to see someone shut him up once and for all.

I've watched the fight twice, Peter never landed a big bomb on Wlad and that is the fact!

BTW, i think toney is a magnificent boxer. the person who said he has never read a klitschko fan praise toney must not have been here very long.

pretty much everyone knows jt has a large and varied amount of skills and arguably the best defence of any current heavyweight.

most people don't like him because he's an *******. and being an ******* doesn't give you "character."
