Both Sanders and Brewster are better fights than one of the other belt holders. The belts are just props anymore. Maskaev is the only one Wlad can unify with without dealing with King, and they've got a potential bigger payday with Hopkins anyway - and a better shot at winning that one.

Whenever Corrie or Lamon want a fight, they should get one. And being the man they beat, you would think Wlad would want to rematch out of pride.

Wlad isn't Vitali. And right now Vit is still retired. Plus Corrie may or may not have been injured during that fight.

Only Valuev doesn't have a bad 'L' on his record too, of the 4 beltholders. You might say Briggs is Darroll Wilson leftovers or that Maskaev is Goofi Whitaker leftovers

I don't know if it's good business from Briggs or Valuev's side to fight Klitschko immediately.

Valuev makes for a great show, has an outside shot at winning, would draw a lot of interest - but afterwards probably loses any credibility he's starting to earn because he'll be dismissed as being exposed as soon as he fought a legit Top 5 guy.

Briggs finally got a national TV fight and a belt and would get ridiculously outclassed if he fought Wlad.

I think the two guys to beat Wlad in recent memory make for good opponents now that people are annointing Klitschko as "the man" in the division.

          .

Brewster has been out a very long time with his eye injury so who know's what his current and future status in boxing is.

I remember Wlad calling Sanders out a few months after he lost to him but Sanders did not grant him a rematch. I will be happy to pull the article up for you if need be.

lol I didn't say that because if someone has a loss then they shouldn't fight other people. I'm saying that Corrie was beat by Vitali and needs to resubmit himself as a contender before fighting the best.

I do think Sanders should have at least one fight against a lesser heavyweight before he cashes in on a big money fight with Wlad.

I would like to see this fight. It would show how much Klitschko may have improved since the first fight with Sanders and simply give him an opportunity to avenge a bad loss.
